From routine cleanings and fillings to CEREC Crowns, Edward C. Smith, DMD, MPH, LLC is equipped to handle all your dental needs. Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.

I must say I'm impressed with all the good reviews I just made my 1st appointment with them however I did tell them I'm looking 4 a horseshoe nothing else but I need it N a valplast due 2 mouth deformity & I just wanna make sure u do this b4 my appointment they said yes don't wanna pay 4 time wasted if they don't do what I want & that's valplast..so I'm coming N2 office.. just don't wanna B miss informed.. let u all No how it goes I'm excited 2 get my valplast horseshoe STARTED..

I’m a military wife and I have been going to Dr. Smiths office since we moved to Columbus, GA and I couldn’t be happier that I picked him as my dentist. Every appointment that I have had everyone is very friendly, kind and most importantly non judgmental. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to any dental procedure, even with cleanings and everyone is always very understanding and patient with me.
Dr. Smith has great bedside manner and he always answers all my questions, I never feel rushed by him or his staff. The hygienist are on another level of amazing. On my most recent cleaning appointment

I was very pleased with the friendliness and efficiency of both, Dr Edward’s and all his staff! The hygienist were on time and did a very thorough job of cleaning and polishing my teeth. Dr. Smith is the first dentist I have seen in a while and I had a very pleasant first consultation as well as treatment. The staff is very friendly and will take the time to answer all of your questions and concerns as well as treatment options. Dr. Smith is very experienced and made sure I understood everything that needs to be done prior to working on my teeth. He as well took the time to answer some of the questions I had and the appointments never feel rushed. I would highly recommend seeing him!

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Edward Smith and his staff since we moved to Columbus, eight years ago. He and his team are very professional and friendly. "Sissy" is my hygienist and not only is she extremely personable but has consistently given me the best cleanings I've ever had! My husband and I both see Dr. Smith for our dentistry. We moved to Columbus not too long ago (from CA) and were nervous about starting over with a new dentist. After researching dentists in the area, we decided on Dr. Smith and are so glad we did. We are very impressed with the entire staff and have had nothing but positive experiences with our visits. Dr. Smith is very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Each hygienist I have had has been friendly and gentle with their work. I would definitely recommend Dr. Smith's office to family and friends.

Dr. Smith is my daughter and my dentist and he is awesome! He's always so professional and kind. The hygienists are so thorough and gentle. Went in for a routine semi annual cleaning. It is a small office but clean and quiet. I completed my paperwork and only sat for a short time before i was brought to the back. The hygienist was friendly and thorough but delivered less than stellar news to me. I had to have some work done more than a cleaning. Here is the cool part, Dr. Smith took the time to complete a very detailed examination and then sat with me to explain everything in great detail. He made sure I was fully aware of what was going on with my teeth and insured had no unanswered questions before he referred me to a specialist

I broke a tooth 2 weeks ago and my insurance company had Dr. Smith listed. His location was near to my home, so I called them and Brigitte was able to work me in immediately. Due to an infection, we had to postpone removing the tooth, but Dr. Smith and his entire staff have been amazing both times that I've been to his office now.

I am ashamed to admit that I am a 40-something year old woman with a serious case of dental anxiety. Dr. Smith is always patient with me and makes sure I have everything I need to reduce my anxiety and get the work done as quickly and painlessly as possible. He makes sure I have my options, but does not pressure me to get it done until I am ready. As for his office staff, they are top-notch. I think it's easy to assume that all dentists are basically the same, but it's simply not true. Since I've moved around lots, I've had several good and bad dentists, and I can say with confidence that Dr. Smith is the best.

I came to Dr. Smith with a broken tooth that had already had a root canal and was in need of a crown. After an exam and X-ray he sat down with me and explained the several different outcomes possible from this slightly unusual situation. I like it when a doctor communicates fully with me. He then removed the chip and did another X-ray and advised that he would be able to salvage the tooth and put a crown on it. Dr Smith has the equipment in his office to actually create your crown in-office so there's no need to have a temporary crown put on and another office visit to get the real crown placed
