Omg my new favorite place! This place is amazing! Me, my mom and aunt picked up to go from here just about an hour ago and I loved it so much that I'm already leaving a review lol. Me and my aunt got the fish n chips. AMAZING. They give two fried fish pieces that are huge and it comes with fries and sriracha sauce. It was so good and still hot even picking it up from to go. My mom got a burger and fries and she said it was really good and tasted fresh. This place is a must try. So many options and really good pricing. Will probably start coming once a week since its 5 minutes from my job.

I always enjoy my meals here. My favorites so far were the French toast and there was a special one day on some special pancakes - nuts and maybe berries and I forget what else but they were delicious.

The bacon is always perfect. The boyfriend usually gets a taco and seems to enjoy.

When we first walked in to this tiny diner in the middle of the energy corridor, we didn't think we would be that impressed. Sort of non-descript in decor, with the only indicator of what was to come being the front doorway covered in stickers (to me that often means good things are about to transpire).

We made our way to the order counter where the orders were being yelled out to the kitchen. I got a beer battered chicken sandwich while Hubs got the special, a Cubano sandwich.

Wonderful Freddy's omelette with yummy salsa. My kids got one kids order of pancakes and a side order of bacon and it was a hit and more than enough to split between the 2 of them. Seriously so much food! The bacon was crisp and large strips. The omelette with side of home fries was SO filling and the price was amazing. No frills. No BS. Counter service diner barely visible from the outside located at the corner of a business park. Open for breakfast & lunch. I needed hot coffee, an omelet, and some place to sit at my laptop before heading to my business meeting at one of the endless business parks in the area. They gave me everything I needed with a smile, good atmosphere, and good basic food. Exactly what I wanted. Thank you.

Don't let the location fool you, the breakfast is unbelievable.
We've only been here for breakfast, but when we're in the area there is no question of where we're headed.
The breakfast taco portions are generous and they cook the tortillas to absolute perfection. I'm not kidding, the best breakfast tacos I've ever eaten are here.
The French toast is off the chart in deliciousness.
The whole menu looks great, so far though after several years...we'll, we can't stop ordering the same things!
The staff is friendly and obviously the cooking is top notch

Everything was great besides when I looked down and their were some type of mini ants crawling all over my arms. They weren't biting but there was so many of them. I don't suggest anyone sit by the long bar table against the windows they were all over me.

Best Fish & Chips in Katy, hands down. Great burgers but a little on the small side. Great lunch spot for the area.

I have eaten at Freddys a number of times in the past but mostly hamburgers. It has always been good diner food. I recently bought a Groupon and as it was expiring, I decided to use if for fish and chips. It was a very large 2 piece with homemade fries. Very fresh and well done...

I love the fish and chips, great sandwiches and salads, can be very busy at lunch, call ahead and count on 3-5 extra minutes. If you prepay you don't have to wait in Pune.

This place is great. Customer service, food, menu, timeliness...so many good things to say about this place but I'll narrow down one.

The croissant breakfast sandwich is the real MVP. This thing is underrated. When I get this for breakfast with a bottled Coke I know it's gonna be a good day.

Been coming here for over a year and I know they've been there longer. Such a great breakfast / lunch spot.

This is a real gem and must eat at!!! I was introduced to Freddy's cafe - not the chain, by coworkers. It is in a nondescript business park. Once you see the line of patrons and you get their food, you will say Eureka! This food is fabulous!!!
The sandwiches are simply perfect. I highly recommend the philly cheese steak or chicken sandwich. My son raves about the burgers and the fish sandwich is the bomb. Do not leave the restaurant without getting the tater tots. We are foodies and have eaten at most of Houston's top 100 restaurants but this little dive truly delights.
Only sadness

I ordered a burger with cheese, bacon, and avocado and curly fries. It was very good. It's your typical burger, but the meat tastes fresh and they season it well. The bacon is thick cut and good quality. They avocado is fresh and they put on several slices. The curly fries taste good too and they give a large portion. I'm definitely going back to try their other options.

Update: Management (Vanessa) really cares about the customers and business. She more than made up for our last experience today. Big thanks!! We were all very happy with our meals today, just as it were always, absolutely DELICIOUS!!

Update: I called at 12:40 yesterday and was put on hold for 11 minutes. I could hear her servicing in the background. Didn't apologize for the hold. Told me it'll be 30 minutes for food pickup. I went in for lunch yesterday as I haven't been here in a while. It gets crowded pretty fast around lunch time. You order at the counter and they take your name and call out when your order is ready. You must pay attention as it gets pretty loud in here.

Their menu is pretty extensive for breakfast and lunch. It ranges form soups, sandwiches, salads and there is a hot lunch of the day special. They are only open from 7-3 and there is also a catering menu.

New job in the area has me checking out local venues and Im really glad I swung into Freddy's tiday for lunch. Nice open table area, not too jam packed like some places do. Clean, nice looking, open to the grill so you can see work area and it looks well kept.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Menu/prices were all up on a big chalkboard and on menues... decent prices for handcrafted grill/diner style food. They do breakfast and lunches.

I snagged a chicken strips and fries basket, with a fountain drink... all told about $12ish.

Nice cozy little place which might be a bit hard to spot from the main road. It pretty much caters to the breakfast and lunch for the offices near by and closes by afternoon. The interiors are nice and the staff was courteous. Once it gets crowded, might be a bit hard to find a table and also hear your name being called.
In terms of food, the choice for vegetarians is very limited. And there was nothing delightful about the veggie delite I tried. In the end, i just forced it down my throat. The fried mushrooms tasted good, but they looked like straight out of the frying pan dripping a whole lot

Decided to try this out since I've seen it on yelp, and it has great reviews.

She ordered the bacon, egg and cheese croissant which was okay. Your typical croissant. The bacon was extremely crunchy.

I ordered the French toast which is a big portion. Also came with bacon. The French toast was pretty dry.

Overall it was ok.

Wait time of over 45 mins - ordered 12:15 and food wasn't ready until past 1pm. Some people before us asked for a refund because it was taking way too long. Also, they put a sign they were limited in staff 40 mins after the fact.

Not only that but they were mixing up orders and people that came AFTER us were getting their food.

In a sea of Jack in the Boxes, Cracker Barrels...all the other chains..., I love a great local spot.

Freddy's doesn't have too many frills. It's counter service, and they aren't winning any awards for the creativity of their menu. But they've got fresh, affordable ($25 for a big breakfast for three including a great tip) food served by personable and efficient people, and it tastes good.

They serve breakfast 'til 10:30 am, and their sausage egg and cheese biscuits, bacon croissant sandwiches, and omelettes will hit that spot.
