Brighton Cooperative Preschool (BCP) has educated preschoolers in Livingston County, Michigan since 1967. BCP is a licensed non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status committed to providing the highest quality preschool education at the lowest cost to community members. BCP is a licensed cooperative preschool through the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
Our preschool is managed through a collaborative effort between our board of directors and a hired teacher. Every hired teacher at BCP meets criteria set forth by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and maintain all certifications and continuing education requirements. BCP is an independent, non-affiliated preschool located within Chilson Hills Church.

Services
At Brighton Cooperative Preschool, we believe that learning should be hands-on, fun, messy, creative, engaging, and include lots of movement. Our teacher uses a play-based method of learning to help children meet developmental milestones and prepare them for kindergarten. Children who attend BCP learn to share, follow a classroom routine, and follow instructions in a nurturing environment.
What is a cooperative preschool? A cooperative preschool is organized by a group of families with similar philosophies who hire a trained teacher to provide their children with a quality preschool experience. Where can I find the school calendar? A school calendar will be provided to you during the first week of school and posted on our Facebook page.
Brighton Cooperative Preschool board members present pictures with Santa at our school located at 4440 Brighton Road Howell, Michigan 48843. Pictures with Santa are scheduled between 10am-11am. Refreshments and craft activities are available between 10am-12:00pm. This event is free. We welcome all BCP members, family, friends, neighbors, alumni, and prospective students to this event.
