Physician Interlink was founded in 1998 by a practicing physician who saw that the trend in healthcare was toward lower and slower reimbursements and increased regulations, red tape and costs. After 20 years in practice, Thomas Moak, MD, realized that the financial transactions in healthcare were becoming too complex for him and his small office to handle on their own.
Physician Interlink provides business office services for medical practices either virtually on your in-house server or on our hosted solution. We work with a variety of software packages, including Allscripts PM, AthenaHealth and eClinical. Founded two decades ago by a physician and an accountant, Physician Interlink understands your hopes, goals and challenges.
Our credentialing service includes populating, submitting and following up on credentialing applications for physician practices. Includes an analysis of your sources of revenue and the impact your insurance contracts and procedure mix have on your revenue stream. Accounts receivable clean up - with access to your practice management system and carrier websites, our AR experts can get your AR under control in no time.
We specialize in working with practices in obtaining medical prior authorizations. The service includes determining which insurance companies require PA's for a service or device, obtaining the PA and tracking all work done for transparency with the practice. We can also provide estimates of patient responsibility due on the front end.
