Services
Dr. Nicole Williams, the founder of Vivid Eyecare, is a board-certified Optometrist who has been in practice for over 15 years. In addition to providing comprehensive primary and preventive family eye care, her specialties include providing contact lenses for hard-to-fit patients with keratoconus, progressive nearsightedness, presbyopia, and dry eyes.
You should see an optometrist once a year whether or not you believe you need vision correction. An annual eye exam can detect not only eye diseases but also other diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure. Schedule your eye exam today. You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam.
If your appointment includes having your pupils dilated-bring a friend or family member to drive you home. Many people cannot see well enough to drive safely after having their eyes dilated. Having this prepared and ready for your appointment will save you time and allow us to make your first visit the very best experience.
We accept most vision and medical insurance plans and it is our pleasure to help you maximize your benefits. Please let our office know about your major medical and vision plan coverage when you call for an appointment. We will do our best to help you receive all of the benefits you qualify for. If Vivid Eyecare is not part of your current medical or vision plan's network, you may still be able to use us through out-of-network benefits.
We specialize in fitting contact lenses and helping our patients with various vision needs. We use the latest lens materials and lens technology. You will receive your lenses from an authorized distributor of the brand you wear- always fresh and pure, never expired, and with 100% FDA approval. Exchange or return unopened, non-expired boxes purchased at this office for any reason, in its original condition within a year.

Last year I was in the market for new glasses. I wanted to make sure that there were no changes to my vision, so I made an appointment to see the optometrist. The appointment was very easy to make. The first appointment, I checked their website to see which VIVID Eyecare location was closest to me and I was able to make my appointment.
When I arrived for my FIRST appointment, the wait was not long at all. I answered a few questions regarding COVID and a questionnaire regarding my health and insurance. At the time, I had NO insurance, so I would be paying out of pocket.

This office is chronically behind. Our appointment was delayed by more than a half hour. There are never many people here but clearly they don’t have a handle on their scheduling and how long the doctor needs with each patient. Once I fulfill this issue I will not come back again and will guard others against coming here.

I am on disability, I got a letter from the LIONS Club that they would cover the eye exam at this location. Dr. Nicole Williams refused to help, despite me being directed there and having a letter stating my Eye Exam would be covered by the LIONS. She also refuses to take insurance of those on disability. She is Classist and Vile.

The girl at the desk and doctor were wonderful. The issue was with the short handed aspect. I was seen 40 minutes late and I was the first patient. The doctor was late.
If my appointment is for 9.20 the doctor should be on premises to service. She was not. Then blamed on being short handed a girl.
I believe the doctor was totally at fault.
My time is just as valuable….respect for each other… love… and one would see the fault

18+ years of being a customer has come to an end. I visit for an eye exam and later CALL in a contact order for 1 box for in store pick up. They proceeded to mail me 2 boxes. So I figure now big deal. I wait and wait for a bill, months go bye. I just received a bill before going on vacation then come home to find they sent it to collections. The amount of money I spent there and they do this for $124 which the collection company had to add a fee of $35 on top of that. What a joke! I would give them zero stars if possible. So I requested my file to take and they say there is a fee and it takes up

I have had better than 20/20 vision all my life and as a result have only gone to the eye doctor maybe two or three times, total. As part of my employment benefits we get discounts on our health insurance if we do certain things - one of them I had to do this year was get an eye exam.
I Googled a place that was close to my house and found VIVID. I set up an appointment online for the next-day (hella convenient). I didn't know that VIVID was located *inside* the LensCrafters, so I drove around the parking lot for longer than I should have before realizing where I had to go.

I've been going to Vivid for a couple of years and find it to be the most convenient appointment to make of my health regiment.
I typically go for annual eye exams then walk to the other side of the building and pick up our glasses; they are located inside the same building as LensCrafters.
Full disclosure: I have also visited when I had a stye (twice); call them they will take you ASAP. Don't try to self treat too long, go there before it gets worse and they will help you.
I normally see Dr. Williams, who is just a pleasure; but have seen others and always felt I received great

Poor customer service! Been going to this office for several years with no problems...but not today! They need to hire people at the desk that can provide proper customer service...and not someone who is unnecessarily rude, nasty & antagonistic. Tell customers upfront if they don't take a particular insurance BEFORE the appointment. You wasted my time and yours. I spoke to the owner who equally didn't appear to care.
I would not recommend this business for eye exams.
The LensCrafters that it's connected to is great though!

This establishment is extraordinary! It's a clean, modern and professional center with a good location and good hours! The ladies (Dr Swindell and her staff) are very friendly and attentive to your needs. I just stumbled upon this location at the end of last year trying to spend some remaining flexible spending dollars from my health plan. Now, I can't imagine going anywhere else for eyecare. I've had to come back a couple of times for different services and each time I call or come by, I feel like I am visiting family! Thanks, Dr. Swindell and staff for taking good care of my daughters

Nothing against Dr Williams ability...but Vivid Eyecare deceived me.
Feb 2015 cataracts removed at Wills Eye both eyes. Since reading glasses were still required,
I decided to get new lenses in my old frames....clear or no RX for distance...2.50 for reading.
Lenscrafters said "No Problem but an RX is required"
Since Vivid Eyecare is right there, I decided to get the RX from Vivid rather than call my eye surgeon...thinking "how much could it be" I made the appointment being very specific that I did not need an exam....just an RX.
Before the appointment began, I was asked

Dr. Williams is an excellent optometrist and I have gone to her for over 3 years. She is knowledgeable, patient, and just has a very kind, nice way about her. I would highly recommend her.
On the other hand, I would definitely not recommend getting your eyeglasses at Lenscrafters. I have bought glasses there for the past three years and have noticed the prices have increased along with the amount of problems I have experienced. I think you will find that once the price of all the add on options which you are told is so necessary you could go to an independent eye glass store and get better service

This review is for the (independent?) Optometrist *inside* the Lenscrafters in the shopping center. I wanted to list this review separately from the ones for that Lenscrafters location, because I only saw the doctor and didn't shop for frames.
But Dr Nicole Williams was so good -- she was really sweet, thorough, efficient and accurate. My g and I both saw her and both really liked her. I've been wearing contacts since I was 11 and in the past year have been having a lot of trouble with a new brand -- stinging eye pain and occasional headaches. Dr. Williams was the second optometrist
