It took several days and many phone calls and online messages to even contact anyone there, only to find out that the owner Donna fired their best stylist Gloria for prejudiced reasons. Without Gloria the shop is just a poor quality hole in the wall frequented only by elderly women for their weekly perm. If you do not fall under that description, don't go here.

I've been going to this salon for six years. All the positive reviews on here are for the stylist Gloria. She is Hispanic. Out of nowhere the owner Donna forced her out, saying she no longer wanted her OR HER PEOPLE THERE. Im disgusted by this. Regardless of your political views, you cannot treat people this way. Gloria has been there 13 years. She is the youngest, hippest up to date stylist there in this very out of date mom and pop salon. If you ever met Gloria you would know she is the sweetest person. Im still in shock that anyone would treat someone the way Donna did. No notice, no reason

DO NOT go to Gloria for color! I gave her a picture of what I wanted and she didn't even come close. Instead I left with red, brown, white, yellow mess! She worked on 3 to 4 other people at the same time and over processed my hair. She had the shampoo girl put on toner and it was done unevenly, hence the multi-colored hair. I was hoping it would grow on me, but it bothered me more and more as the day went on. I was visibly not happy while she was drying it, but said it was ok. By the evening I was just disgusted by the mess and texted Gloria. I have been a long time customer and she refused

Been going here for about 7 years. Love the ladies here, they are so friendly! Small shop in a small store front right next to Main street. I am a young professional and Gloria has been doing my hair the entire time,the first time I went to her she had a challenge to fix a color mess up, she fixed it and I had her do my hair for my wedding and from there its history, im hooked and she is fabulous and gets it right everytime, I am always receiving compliments on the colors and cut!

I like to do different things with my hair and gloria helps me put it together . She has such a incredible way to fix my hair the way I like it and she's so nice. If you ever want to get your hair done go here. Prices are excellent and let's not judge a book by its cover. The place looks old from the outside but the people working there are the best !!!! 100% recommended!!!!

Every time I go to Gloria I absolutely love it. She always does what I ask for exactly how I imagined it, and she gives excellent advice. I've been going to Hair Artistry by Donna since I was a kid, and I refuse to go anywhere else (tried a Hair Cuttery once, did't go back). Do be aware though, I've only had Sandy and Gloria, and Sandy is definitely better for more mature hairstyles (older than 50), whereas Gloria is best for younger hairstyles (talking like teens-late 40's). Both are absolute sweethearts though and will do their best to give you the exact hairstyle you want. The whole place has

I don't know about the other stylists there, but Gloria lived up to the great reviews given here so far. She knew right away what was wrong with my bad haircut and started snipping away like Edward Scissorhands. I have naturally curly hair and it can be difficult finding someone who actually really understands it, although many have said they do. Gloria seemed to really know how it would behave once it was cut and dry. I got the first great haircut in a long time. It looks like we might move from the area, and if we do I'll still drive back to see Gloria.

When a 13 year-old boy covers his head with his hands, exclaiming that no one can touch his hair, except for Gloria - you have to wonder; is she that good? And yes, she is! The shop as someone mentioned is in a run down looking shopping center, but I get a great haircut and highlighting at a very reasonable price. I see Gloria. She is so so good, and encourages bringing in pictures. She can make your hair look exactly like the picture.....(within reason I'm certain). She encourages you to do so, and I am always very happy with my cut and color...and get many compliments. I have tried many places before settling in here.

I love this place! It was really easy to make an appointment and my hair looks how I wanted.Gloria was the person who did my highlights and hair cut.She is a wonderful stylist :) She listened really carefully and I LOVE the color of my hair..The price is really reasonable and I had a great time doing my hair..Also,she speaks Spanish.

I have to admit, I was skeptical.This was a shot in the dark ,first time visit.My boyfriend was helping me out looking for salons close by since my longtime stylist was not available after having a baby.He read the review, made a call and really felt good after speaking to Donna that I would be in good hands.He was right! My appointment was with Michelle and she made me feel right at home!She listened to everything I had to say,she asked me more details as we went along and my hair turned out awesome!I will definitely go back!!

This is my place and Nicole is my savior! This hole in the wall in a sketchy shopping center is Laurel's gem of a hair salon....thanks to Nicole! I can't believe I'm even posting this on here.
