After all they are not "My Great Movers" !!!!!
I usually do not write any reviews neither positive or negative; but reflecting at the end of the day, I felt I was humiliated by their attitude and their passive aggressive attitude during the move and I felt I was paying $380 dollars for them to torture me and be yelled at and given bad rude treatment as a customer. They ruined my day and I decided to stop my move and did not finish it. My daughter hired them the rest of the day to move her furniture. During the prior day, I called them to confirm and they were rude and not talkative on

Spent 6.5 hours moving a 550sq feet apartment, which should be a 3 hour max moving job with professional mover using right tools and skills. We are talking about 30 boxes, 1 bed set, 2 desks and that's it. unprofessional and deceiving. One will hide somewhere to play on his phone if you don't go get him after removing stuff from the apt. The other obviously doesn't know what to do and caught him restocking boxes in the truck and doing other useless work. They will move boxes one by one to the truck instead of using a tool to get 4,5 boxes together to the truck? and then spent

I requested quotes from a few companies to move a few pieces of furniture and mattresses (not a whole house), and many companies required 3 hour minimum. My Great Movers required 2 hours but higher hourly rates ($99 vs $120). I really didn't think I needed more than 2 hours, but ended up using 2.5 hours and paid $300. So, I did end up paying the same price as the 3 hour minimum company for 2.5 hours of work. I guess I underestimated how long it would take to move.

Response: Messaged My Great Movers this morning when we last minute needed some help getting large furniture up stairs to a two story apartment. Adam was quick to reply and very accommodating; since I only needed help unloading I requested for just an hour of help and he was able to do so. (Some moving companies require a two hour minimum) He also checked in after the move to make sure everything went okay.
Availability: I had difficulty trying to book movers last minute (my fault for being too lazy to do it beforehand) but Adam was able to squeeze me in on a Saturday afternoon. Great for last

My great Movers work with ease and integrity! I would recommend them any day.
They do a great job for the discounted quotes compared to the other companies!
If you hire them please make sure that you pay them in full and don't snake these amazing and helpful guys. They do any job at the highest level even after many ungrateful costumers have refused to pay the quotes that where agreed upon.
They are some of the best movers I have ever met. Show some appreciation by doing the right thing and hiring respectable and hard working individuals that are worth every dollar quoted!

First off, I am writing this review because the company tried to discredit my wife's review because she was not present for the move. I am the person who was present for the move. When they acknowledge the inaccuracies in their response to my wife's review, I will delete her review. Multiple inaccuracies are present in his response as he said he offered 2 hours to come out to fix the poor packing, when he actually offered only 1 hour (we have this in email), he claimed that we did not have tie downs, when we had at least 12, plus bungee cables and moving blankets. Awesome!! We had a small job moving a few items from storage to our apartment and from the initial quote to the actual appointment they were on it. They responded quickly, showed up on time and were super professional. A pleasure to deal with, no shady BS like we experienced with other movers, and came in under the estimate!! How often does that happen! Highly recommend.

Stay away. We moved with my great movers from Mountain view to San Mateo and had a terrible experience. To start with they were late and overall inefficient. But the worst is they assembled our one year old king bed all wrong (pics attached) and put a heavy mattress on it. The mattress went down in the middle of the night causing me. We moved on Saturday July 18th and this happened on July 18th night. When we called them on Sunday morning, they scheduled an "investigation".
