Generation Law
Generation Law is proud to sponsor "The Crones, " a podcast, blog and photo gallery sharing the conversations and stories of wise and wonderful women in their 70s, 80s and beyond. Brought to you by retired roller derby crone, Barbara "Queen B" Dolan, as she travels the country in her shiny vintage trailer, meeting fascinating elder women and sharing their lives and wisdom in their own voices.
Services
Since 2003, Generation Law has helped people like you preserve dignity and control over their lives through estate planning, guardianship litigation and related elder law services. Don't risk your future with a cookie-cutter estate plan or a will you downloaded online. Saving a few bucks on DIY solutions might be enticing now, but could cost you thousands more in court fees (not to mention the hassle) when they don't work correctly later.
Dad had a stroke, and now he's in the hospital. Or mom is starting to forget the grandkids' names when you visit. Or maybe your spouse, though not at all elderly, can no longer care for themselves after an illness or accident. You want to make sure they're taken care of, but you're not sure where to start (or how to find the money).
Don't settle for the DIY, corner-cutting plans you see online - what you don't know can hurt you. Our knowledgeable attorneys will help you create a customized estate plan that lets you call the shots, even after you're gone. A properly crafted estate plan helps protect your wishes and distribute your stuff the way you want.
Our compassionate approach to managing and distributing your assets helps reduce your family's stress and avoid legal pitfalls. Creating a will and, many times, placing assets into trusts help make sure your estate is divvied up the right way - your way. A will lets you have your say about who gets your assets, from cars to family heirlooms, and who cares for your minor kids if you're not here.
If they can't sign a power of attorney, the wrong person has power of attorney, or they're facing financial abuse, it's time to get the courts involved. In these situations, a guardianship is the best way to protect their well-being and defend their dignity. Appointing a guardian can protect your loved one from abuse, neglect or being placed in the hands of a court-appointed stranger to make decisions for them.

Critical: Professionalism
Not sure why someone would write a Will to Discriminate. IMHO.

My dad's accountant referred me to Andrea Kovar at Generation Law to take a look at my dad's Will, Power of Attorney papers and Trust. Andrea was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was friendly, spoke clearly and helped us understand everything. She was super thorough, too. She really seemed sincerely interested in making sure my dad's documents were correct. She sorted out all the details on the documents, updating and redrafting when needed. She was also a fast worker. We really enjoyed working with her and I highly recommend her services. Her support staff was very competent and helpful
