These guys are awesome! My four year old started clicking on things on my laptop and next thing I know my computer is locked up with a screen blaring at me telling me to call some 800 number. I called and they told me it was a well known virus and to bring it in. The next day it was ready and the price was very reasonable. They are life savers, I wouldn't call anyone else!

Called them about an issue with my laptop's fan. On start, a message appeared that the fan was malfunctioning. I mentioned that fact in my initial contact with them, yet they failed to act on it. Was that because they were under the impression that I was not intelligent enough to know what I was talking about? Or perhaps a feeble old woman? Maybe replacing a fan wouldn't pay that well? In any event, I have ordered a fan and will replace it myself. Received an email from them; claimed they didn't receive the message on the laptop. Well, that just returns to the 'was that because' scenarios. The

I have used the People's Geek for all my computer needs for many years. Recently, I needed a new work laptop. I asked them to purchase one for me and migrate all my work and personal files to the new computer. All went well and I was able to start work immediately on my new laptop! I want to cry with gratitude when I think about Josh and the rest of the team at The People's Geek. I contacted them in Jan '18 in desperation to address a weird memory issues with my Mac. It was not an easy fix--it required a lot of research to figure out the problem was with the new operating system---and I was so worried that the cost of the fix would exceed the cost of just replacing the computer. Peoples Geek responded to a difficult situation with my desktop PC quickly and provided great service. This PC was originally Windows 8.1, had multiple upgrades to Windows 10 and ended with numerous apps/utilities not functioning at each stage. I finally found Peoples Geek and they resolved all of the issues quickly, providing timely updates as they progressed. The PC now functions better than it has ever functioned before and the cost was very reasonable.

Very impressed with The Peoples Geek and their work. Our business server and computer connections were in dire need of help at a critical time since our company move, all systems were failing for various reasons. We called them and Josh came over and started the repairs and reconnect our devices one by one. Josh was very pleasant to deal with and was very through on his assessment and completion of the project at hand. To this day, I'm not sure what caused all the chaos, but we're happy to have The Peoples Geek supporting our business.

Prompt, professional, and friendly. I had a problem with my Internet service slowing down and Josh came to my house to check things out. He quickly diagnosed the issue (the modem needed to be replaced), called Time-Warner for me, talked to their technician, and patiently instructed me on how to set it up nice I had it set. Fairly priced. I highly recommend them.

Josh and Ben from The People's Geek saved me hundred, if not thousands, of hours in lost data and work by recovering files from my friend hard drives, as in THREE hard drives. My internal hard drive and my two external backup hard drives all failed in two weeks. Without the Time Machine and Carbonite backup that they installed and the work they did recovering data from the friend drive, I would have been out of luck. I got back 99% of my files, my emails, fonts, and contacts. They installed the software on my computer, taught me how to manage it, and stepped me through the recovery process
