We hear statements like this all the time from parents who tour our facility. It's natural. After all, the next best thing to a parent is family. It's Grandma, Sister, Aunt, or Cousin. When family isn't available, a child care center can often feel like settling for your third or fourth option. Programs, policies, facilities, and funding are important, but they don't ease the guilt or bring you peace of mind.
We love to celebrate Moms at Little Village Kids! Here are some fun activities for you to do with your little ones for Mother's Day. You can enjoy these together or drop a not-so-subtle hint to Dad that these might make fun gifts. Below, you'll find coloring pages that you can download, print, and perfect.
Little Village Kids Family Care Center is a different experience from any childcare center you've ever seen. We are organized differently. We treat our staff differently. We treat our children differently. We are different by design. Speaking of different, we also don't hire very often. Our turnover is extremely low, because people who work here stay for a long time.

We have been part of the LVK family for nearly 3 years...we have complete trust in the care provided and are so thankful staff take a genuine and vested interest in our child. It truly does take a "Village" and we love and support ours! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Amazing. The staff treats our son like their own and nurtures his creativity. He (our son) thoroughly enjoys going each day and is greeted by well over a handful of teachers who know him by name. We are kept well informed on the activities of his class and they actively provide themed days (such as a Valentines Day party yesterday).
In short, this is an amazing education center and we are fortunate enough to live close.

At first I thought this place was amazing and the staff was so friendly just to be stereotyped and discriminated. I won't go into detail but let's just say I don't feel comfortable sending my children anymore. I feel they're looking for reasons to complain. The educational building is a better daycare with down to earth staff who actually care about the children. Little village put on a good front but after awhile there true colors show and it's not pretty. So people all I'm saying is don't let them fool you, go somewhere else.

We started sending our two young boys to Little Village Kids a year ago. Our boys had never been in the care of anyone but family, so this was a very big adjustment for us. In addition, we were shocked by the price of daycare all around the area. We were very thorough in our research, despite a family member encouraging us to chose LVK. We went to multiple daycares, unannounced, and toured them, as well as met with staff/directors and asked multiple questions, holding them all to the same standard. We were, again, shocked by the cost of many of them, but while some big name chains seemed to "have

I would give no stars if I could.First off, I feel like there was no consistency there. The communication was not clear and my child ended up sick for a whole month. He was sent home with a soaked diaper on one occasion and the diaper was put on backwards on two other occasions. The staff was rude and act like they didn't know a thing about my child. Hire people who actually likes working with children. That truly does make a difference. This is a real review by the way. I paid every week, so money is not a issue.

My kids have started in this daycare for a couple of weeks now and I have got to say they are awesome, caregivers and teachers are always giving their very best, my older son does not know english and it has been so very awesome the effort they have done to understand him and even learn spanish to help him out. Today, his teacher even passed me a list of things they want to learn to tell him in spanish. I cant say in words how appreciated I am and how thankful I am to feel my babies are in a safe and loving place and are learning so much. Awesome staff awesome owners. I will never change daycare

This daycare center is the best daycare center my children have ever been to. All of the staff here are like family to us. They are all so very kind, loving and patient to all the kids. I would never want my kids going anywhere else but here. My children have a blast here and love coming to school everyday. The owners of Little Village Kids work one on one with my family when we need help or advice. We are truly blessed to have found such an amazing childcare center.

Oh how I MISS Little Village Kids! My one and only child started daycare at this center when he was only 3 months old. Leaving my little angel with "strangers" was one of the hardest things I ever did. No one can care for him like I can... I am sure every mom thinks the same thing. At first, I felt way over protective because I questioned everything they did to help my son and wanted to know how every minute of every hour was handled in my absence. Still dealing with separation anxiety (for both my son and myself), sometimes I would be in tears over the smallest of issues. One time they didn't

My son has been going to Little Village for almost 2 years now. We had no idea what was going on with him but knew he needed some extra help. When the owner told us he would "not give up on Ryon" at our first review meeting - I knew we had hit the jackpot!
In the past 2 years, Ryon has grown up to be such an independent, kind, intelligent wonderful little man and Little Village and their fantastic teachers and staff have been our "partner" in helping him become so awesome. Recommending them is just not enough -- they are so much better than that!
