It all started for me when I was a kid. When I was young I was fascinated by the kitchen, by baking and the joy it could bring to people. Every year on my birthday my mom would make a very special, decorated cake and I got to choose the flavor. It was almost always chocolate cake with cherries. I looked forward to eating that cake every year.

The Cakabakery absolutely delivered on our cake for the wedding. We asked for a small cake with The Office as the theme. It was SO much more than we ever expected. I cried when I picked it up because you hope they had the same vision as you. Their vision was perfection. They were so great to work with and I will be back for ALL my events. Thank you!!

I’ve always loved this place and everything they do. It is also such a fun local business that makes you feel so involved in the community.
Most recently during the ordering process of my latest custom cake we had a few miscommunication hiccups. But I have to say that the team quickly handled everything with the best customer service experience I’d could have imagined. Everything was resolved without any issues.
I wanted to highlight this and leave a review because it is in moments like this that you truly see how well a business is managed and how much they truly care for their customers

Mmmm! My now-husband and I had a cake tasting at Cakabakery for our wedding, and it didn't disappoint! We had an appointment on a Saturday, and it was relaxing and enjoyable. We were given four choices to try (see cupcake photo), and we were left to try them, discuss them in private, and then dove into the specifics shortly after we had our fill (it was nice not feeling rushed or being watched as we enjoyed our cupcakes). Our wedding cake was a hit and designed just how I had envisioned. Thank you for the tasty cake and satisfactory customer service, Cakabakery!

Based off some of the pictures that I saw online, I decided to contact this bakery to create a cake for my niece's baby shower. Although I was a little bit leery that they could not provide me a sketch or a mock up I was so impressed with the pictures that I saw that I decided to go ahead, place my order and make a down payment which was half. When I went to go and pick up my niece's cake I was thoroughly impressed and I am a customer for life. Not only will I be a customer for life but the cake was delicious. This coming from a person who doesn't indulge in a lot of sweets.

Words cannot even begin to describe how tasty this bakery is... YUM!!! Whenever someone is new to town... I always advise that they make a stop here! I love the designs of their sweet treats, I love the flavors of their sweet treats, and the staff is always SO friendly! I was looking for some spooktacular Halloween goodies this past weekend, and Caka had the best and most festive baked goods by far! All of their creations were so unique and made my Halloween party that much more fun! And not only did these treats look amazing... they also tasted amazing! The "RIP Hunger" cake was a Snickerdoodle

WOW! Cakabakery deserves 6 stars if they'd let us give it to them!! They catered our wedding dessert bar (cupcakes, cookies, and our wedding cake) and were a HIT with our guests. We live 3 hours away and we would drive the 6-hours there and back for one of their cupcakes! Everyone was so friendly to work with and they made our vision come to life! Cannot recommend them enough!!

Cakabakery is the best in town! They catered cupcakes and a personal cake for our wedding. We had the following flavors that were literally the most delicious tasting cakes ever: Strawberry Champagne, Sweet Potato, Cookie Dough and Vanilla. It was tough to narrow down what flavors we wanted for our wedding. All of our guests were so impressed by the taste and freshness of their cupcakes! Would highly recommend!

Cakabakery did our wedding cake and cupcakes this past weekend for our wedding and it was AMAZING!! I would definitely recommend them! Everything was flawless - they looked and tasted amazing!!
Outside of look and taste, they were easy to communicate with and they were very accommodating even though we had to postpone due to Covid. The lemon blueberry were my fave!

Such a cute shop!! It was so clean and nice with friendly staff who were all masked when we went. They were helpful with suggestions and giving us the information about the cake of the day and what was available. The cookies were absolutely delicious!!! We enjoyed the cupcakes too but 1 was a bit dry and we think that was because we went close to the end of the day. We will be back over and over.

I'm sad. I'm sad I have to say this. I put all my eggs in the Cakabakery basket for my upcoming wedding. Everyone knows of this fantastic bakery in GR.
I emailed them, they sent me pricing and I asked if they offered tastings before we commit. Jason emailed back and said yes just let me know whenever you'd like to pick up. I had told him in said email that we wanted some of the unusual flavors offered in their "classic" flavors such as lemon and banana.
I was PUMPED. Go in to pick them up. Saw Jason. He didn't even lift his head up from his phone to say hi or acknowledge

Kudos to Cakabakery for being open in this tulmtous times.Open Wednesday and Saturdays. Hubby picked up a surprise for my burthday... I had to open the fridge the last two days waiting to eat these beautifully crafted cupcakes. Both moist and filling. I got two flavors. Raspberry Lemon, a little on the sweeter side. Almond Joy was the perfect level of everything. I liked the coconut throughout the cupcake. I hope to order a birthday cake in the future. Baker Cakabaker takes cake orders 2 weeks in advance. Will be back to try more!

I personally haven't tasted the cookies or cupcakes that I ordered via DoorDash for my sister and brother in law who just had their first baby. Wish I could have but alas I'm a few states away in TX. However the cookies and cupcakes were well received by the new parents and it was packaged beautifully, along w the handwritten note by the bakery w the congratulatory message I requested. Apparently the choco chip cookies were darn delicious-on par w Tiny No. 5s in Houston- which is high praise. Hopefully will get a chance to visit my new niece soon and will def have to try this myself

This place is delicious. Never had anything that wasn't astounding. It's so good my mother in law who lives in a different state comes so often, they know her.
Hot tip: I also think it's the best coffee in town. For a plain cup of coffee I'd pick caka any day. Highly recommend the cupcakes and cookies in particular.
For vegans, they have options.

My fiancé is obsessed with Batman so every year I order him a custom made Batman Cake from different places. I never really bothered taking pictures because the results are usually good but not that great. I was looking for vegan donuts in town, called around, couldn't find any. I called Cakabakery to find out what vegan options they had. They have cupcakes. I went by, picked up a vegan lemon cupcake and enjoyed at home. It was excellent.
