Child Care Choices is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) child care resource and referral agency started in 1987 as a community effort to meet the growing need for child care and to improve the quality of child care in Miami County, Ohio. Today Child Care Choices continues to advocate for high quality child care programs and promote engaging educational experiences for children, families and early childhood professionals in the Miami Valley.

Services
Child Care Choices refers parents/caregivers to programs that are most likely to meet their specific needs. Referrals are provided so that parents/caregivers can research all of their options. Child Care Choices gives referrals instead of recommendations or suggestions, because we encourage parents/caregivers to take the time to evaluate child care programs and providers and make the decision that they feel will be best for their family.
You can make a difference in the lives of children and assure the well-being of the next generation. It is imperative to give all children a strong early start through high quality child care and early education. These early experiences have a profound and long-lasting positive impact on the current well-being of our children, as well as future life outcomes in education, employment, health, citizenship and life satisfaction.

After submitting your request form, a Child Care Choices referral specialist will email you a list of referrals within three working days.
The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal program that provides reimbursements for nutritious meals and snacks served to eligible children who are enrolled for care at participating child care centers and family child care homes. CACFP contributes to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children and adults in the United States.
The Child Care Choices Story Lady Program has had the privilege of giving the gift of reading to our youngest citizens in the Miami Valley for over 20 years. Our Story Ladies visit child care centers, preschools and family child care homes to read books to children and engage them in early literacy activities.
