WCS installed Canadian Solar panels for me and I couldn’t be happier. Their service was better than excellent. Devin in sales, the installers and Melissa in accounting we’re all very responsive to all my questions. I would highly recommend them. The only disappointment I have is with Solar Edge who are the ones that handle the app for you to track activity. It doesn’t work and customer support does not respond. No one at WCS can help. One star for that. I wish they would have a better company to service this.

If I could give West Coast Solar zero stars I would. We purchased solar in 2018. The salesman 100% assured us that our solar loan was transferrable with the sale of our house, or that we could have our solar moved to our new house. Well that was not the case. We are NOT able to transfer the solar loan with the sale of our house. We have to outright buy the system, $27,000, in order to sell our house. We felt lied to the day we purchased solar from West Coast Solar. Their customer service is non existent. We called West Coast Solar multiple times (explained to them what was happening), to try to

Mike Kleeman is prompt, honest and knowledgeable.
The West Coast team took care of all the details, kept me informed, and got the system operational in under a month.
I’ve heard stories of city permit and PG&E permit delays lasting months in some cases. Not so with my project.

I had a solar system installed in December, 2020. I found all of my interactions with West Coast solar to be very timely and professional. I always got quick responses to my questions, everything was explained to me very clearly, and there was never any pressure. Even during an extremely busy year, they managed to get my system installed on schedule before the end of the year. This is in stark contrast to one of my friends who simultaneously went with another company for his installation and is still waiting for activation, 2 months late!

We researched many companies. We also saw a friend's research on solar companies and we both agreed that West Coast Solar was the best option for us. 2 of our other friends had great experiences with them. Darren Chamberlain (925) 234-8888, walked us through every step. Very professional, knowledgeable and never pushy. He really worked hard to get us set up before the New Year...and succeeded! To say this was a great experience would be a lie. West coast solar came to us highly recommended by friends and family. However our experience with them has been less that stellar. First when we had our quote Mike was over 30 minutes late. With no explanation or apologies. Husband was ready to call it quits but again family and friends said mike… was fantastic and so was west coast solar. Here is when Mike let us know that there installation was 6 weeks out. So we had to work fast to get it in by the end of year. Next, we signed contact and sent deposit in within 3 days of our quote. Hoping

Great experience with West Coast Solar. They put 34 panels on my roof and a backup battery in the garage so that I will generate 18,000 kW a year and I could not be happier with their work. Quality LG products and their quick response time to questions in email, my system is up and running and according to the solar edge monitoring app. I’m generating more than I’m using so life is good and I’m very happy with their professional team. First inquired about solar back in June 2019. Wasn't ready to buy until end of September 2019. Completion was middle of December 2019.
Our first contact was Joe Molale and he was straight to the point, not pushy at all. I appreciated that he gave us space to think about it and came to realize that West Coast Solar had the best deal and warranties. Once we pulled the trigger, everything was easy as WCS takes care of everything...permit, paperwork, PG&E, scheduling city inspections....

The solar project took an extremely long time (6 months), after a wind storm we learned that they “forgot” to bolt the panels down, as of 8 months since completion we are still waiting for our meter to be aggregated with PG&E so we can actually be on solar power and not pay PG&E. I’ve left messages with Ryan Ogden (?) and the main phone As of 10… days I’ve not received a call back. Well we finally received a call back to be informed that they had never put in the application to PG&E for us to be on solar polar. This mistake has cost us nearly a $1000.

Brad, our project administrator, was quick to answer any questions… that we had. Scheduling was very quick and easy. Our installer, Travis, showed up early, was very professional and went through the installation process before beginning work. Clint Rarey of West Coast Solar is the only person I would trust when it comes to installing solar. I am amased at his knowledge about the local ordinances and how they would affect our installation.
