The doctor said he did not want to see me simply because I am homeless. Little does he know I live in a 5 star hotel looking for an apartment. One thing has nothing to do with the other.
Completely un-genuine unprofessional and shouldn't really have an license I'll see to that. Sharing a space with a dental office. Just tacky office.

They have poor customer service, referral coordinator won't return calls unless you blow her up which eventually will frustrate you, confirm information in your authorization most likely it will be wrong and you will waste your time, staff can be rude and stared while they whispered, another thing is that you will see a student before seeing your physician and they will take forever,this place is a mess.

I went there with questions, some were answered but oddly left with more questions. First I saw Penteha a pa she was very nice and knowledgeable. She listened to what I said and answered all my questions. I came in to get the results from Jennifer a np who took literally less then 5 minutes to scare the crap out of me, yes I understand they have to go over all the possibilities, but don't have to emphasize the worst possible thing a majority of the visit. First off, wish I could give 0!
Made an appointment through Zocdoc to see Dr. Akhavan, however when I arrived I was informed that he was not even on site, and that only a nurse practitioner would be able to see me. (Zocdoc confirmed this should not have happened and that I should have been notified if they had scheduled for only a nurse).
The nurse was not able to assist me for what I had made an appointment for. I left wasting 1.5 hours of my time (today) and now will be forced to take additional time out of working hours (money/time) to see an actual doctor. Such an unprofessional establishment

Visit One: Came in for a physical which should've been covered by my insurance and was re-assured by both the doctors and the front desk that it was. Much to my surprise when the bill came that they billed it as something else so that my insurance would only cover part (not all). I've called multiple times and each time the front desk would agree that it should be changed, they'll call billing to update my bill, yet I've haven't received an updated bill yet.
On top of that, took two nurses about three tries to draw blood...

This place is a scam , I went in suffering abdominal pain, took 1 hour to call me in too see a nurse and when I finally saw one, they left me in the room for a while Intill a nurse came thru examined me and told me to go home , it was close to closing time and the weekend so I'm sure they wanted me outta there , she gave me heartburn medicine when I didn't even have that. The pain was still consistent and they told me to come back in a week for tests just throwing prices at me. The pain was still consistent the next day so I went to a real hospital and I come to find out my appendix was

I've had Dr. Akhavan as my physician for over 10 years. He has always taken care of me to his best ability.
When I first made my appointment at casa de Salud I was a bit skeptical because of the location, it looked relatively small but no matter, that was the least of my concerns.
Truth is, if it's full, I don't recommend walking in without an appointment. The wait can vary from 1-1.5 hours. However if you've made an appointment it never takes more than 20-40 minutes at most!
Now I have no complaints about the medical nor the dental services.

The place looks good but the staff is ridiculously, when I entered the clinic there was absolutely no one there(patients), and it still took the receptionist a good 12 minutes to just say hello, then I went ahead and asked if it was open since there were no patients or visible staff. She said yes but its going to be a 30-45 to see a doctor, I said : why? There no one else here, and her answer was : if you don't like it then go buy your kid something over the counter!

Worst experience in a doctor's office EVER. I DO NOT recommend and if you can avoid going to this place I highly suggest that you do. They really play on the fact that your in there, you might as well do so and so testing (TB, pap, bloodwork, etc...), which I did get suckered into since I haven't done any in a while... But here's the list in case you're wondering why you should avoid this doctor's office.
