Services
Individual therapy is ideal for anyone who is feeling "stuck" in life, has a particular problem or is struggling with specific symptoms. Often, clients who come to therapy say "I just want to feel.happier, better, calmer." In individual work, we address areas that are keeping us stuck so that we can do more behaviors that move us toward the rich and meaningful life that everyone wants and deserves.
We are passionate about working alongside children and their families to provide support and help create a plan of action. In therapy, we offer a structured environment where children actively participate in interventions, including therapeutic role play, written activities, organizational skills, and coping skills for difficult emotions (anxiety, anger, depression).
IQ testing appointments are now available for the Scholars Academy. We will open up appointments in late September with most availability occuring October-January. Deadlines are usually in Feb. Please read ALL info and also review info provided by the school.

We have extensive knowledge about intellectual giftedness and the program at Scholars Academy, as well as lots of experience testing pre-school age children, which requires special patience and care.Scholars Academy is a charter school for highly gifted children. In order to apply for admission to Scholars, an IQ test is required.
Psychoeducational testing is helpful in determining if an intellectual disability or specific learning disorder is present. Testing can also assist in diagnosis of executive functioning concerns (e.g., ADHD) or other cognitive or academic impairments. Reports can be provided to the child's school and/or other provider(s) to better assist in supporting the child in the classroom and at home.
Psychological Testing services are provided in a quiet, inviting, and private office. Psychological Testing is a useful tool to help clients and families find out more about their cognitive, academic, social, and psychological functioning. Please note, we do not provide evaluations for court-related matters.
