Services
The curriculum at Monkton Country Day Care is based on the development of the whole child. We value a curriculum that develops creativity, and readiness skills mastery through multi-sensory experiences. Our curriculum strength is in its flexibility, variety of approaches and resources, all with the goal of meeting each individual child's needs.
The Director, Pastor or a member of the Day Care Committee will make decisions regarding closings. The school may be closed unexpectedly in the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Early morning closings resulting from the weather will be announced via e-mail, and on the school answering machine and on WBAL radio; 1090 AM (or WBAL app).
MCDC is a warrm and inviting preschool environment. My children are happy to go to school each day and feel safe and comfortable to learn and explore with their teacher. What more could a parent want for their kiddos? I highly recommend MCDC to anyone looking for high quality childcare. As a mom and teacher, I wanted a daycare for my girls that was nurturing, attentive to their developing personalities and educationally enriching.
