The health of our students and teachers is our priority and we are closely following guidelines and procedures from the state of Maryland and the MSDE Office of Child Care. Our school is located in Cockeysville, Maryland and has been in operation for over 50 years. We provide a nurturing environment for young children's intellectual, emotional, social and physical development.

Services
Ashland Preschool Center is a community service and educational outreach of Ashland Presbyterian Church. Each child is unique and filled with the potential for amazing growth in spirit, mind, and body. The fullest potential of each child will be realized in the environment found at Ashland. The family is the first and most significant aspect of each child's development.
Each classroom teacher has numerous years of experience in the classroom, holds a college degree, has ADA training and is CPR certified. The school is part of the Maryland State Credentialing Program. All teachers supplement their knowledge with double the standard required courses outside of school and continue striving to improve their classroom.
Each of our programs are designed to meet the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical needs of the child at a developmentally appropriate level. Our school follows the Houghton Mifflin Curriculum, designed to encourage and engage children to develop a love for learning through exploration and play, while preparing the child for kindergarten.
Our two's program serves as a child's first exposure to school. It is designed to provide children the opportunity to experiment with various sensory mediums, listen to stories, sing songs, use age appropriate materials and toys, and begin to understand school routines. There is an emphasis on sharing and socialization skills.
Summer Camp is designed to provide summer activities and/or part-time child care for children ages 3-6 years. The daily activities include outdoor and indoor play, creative art and craft activities, language arts, science, social studies, and story time. The children who stay for a full day will have a rest period after lunch.
