Canadian Valley Animal Hospital is a longstanding business of El Reno and continues to provide high quality veterinary care throughout the Canadian River Valley and beyond. Our company operates in 3 segments, Small Animal Services, Large Animal Services, and Referral Services. We maintain diversity in the animal healthcare market through these different segments and continue develop services in these three segments.
At times, it becomes necessary to utilize prescription products to manage disease and control risk. There are many factors that our veterinarians must consider when developing a prescription. No other aspect of your production is more vital to your profitability than increased conception and calving.
We are currently operating a tilt hydraulic chute, 25 foot adjustable hydraulic alley way, and a double alley way entry with a 12 foot tub. Additionally, we have a portable hydraulic chute that allows us to work large groups of cattle at the producer's ranch. So whether it's at our state of the art facility or at your ranch, we have the equipment to handle your stock safely, efficiently, and with the least amount of injury and stress.
At times, it becomes necessary to utilize prescription products to manage disease and control risk. There are many factors that our veterinarians must consider when developing a prescription. What is the intended use? what is the goal? Will it cause violative residues? is it legal? Federal law requires that veterinarians have a Valid-Client-Patient-Relationship before writing or dispensing prescriptions.
Our veterinarians are USDA accredited and are ready to help ensure your compliance with state and federal regulations. We can assist you with TB testing, Brucellosis testing, Calfhood vaccination, Tritrichomonas testing, and health certificates for intrastate and interstate movement. We are capable of processing large herd sizes and have the necessary RFID technology needed to utilize your EID herd systems.
