Bench Gym Personal Training dc is a one-on-one instruction incorporating fitness assessment, goal setting, and nutritional advice into challenging workouts specifically designed for each individual's particular needs. Recognizing that everyone is unique, we adopt all training philosophies including weight loss, hypertrophy, strength, powerlifting, core, functional, flexibility, or balance depending on the individual's goals and limitations.
Our clients' safety is always our main concern. That was my first training day with Bench Gym, and I've been a loyal client since. It was my New Year's resolution at the time. Bench Gym Personal Training was established in 2003 as a niche gym to help everyone in their physical fitness needs and promote well-being to the Washington DC community so they can live a healthy and productive life. One of our main considerations is to create a safe fitness program that helps clients achieve their goals injury-free.
It is also useful for anyone who is monitoring the balance of left and right side of body or trying to build or rehabilitate a particular part of one's body. The system accurately measures Abdominal Fat; Bone Mass; Metabolic Age; Total Body Water %; Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR); Physique Rating (ratio of fat & muscle); Full Muscle Mass; Full Body Fat %.
For the past 15 years, we have clients who failed or simply gave up quickly but most reached their goals. Successful clients share the same character: Discipline, Consistency, and Commitment. And the most important part is to always have short-term goals to sustain your ultimate goals and to keep your motivation always alive.

I really enjoyed my workouts with jon ponce. He kept pushing me to do a little more. By the time I finished my sessions, I had a lot of strength and energy. I would highly recommend him as he is very knowledgeable and a great motivator. There were times when I did not want to push myself and he encouraged me. I took a total of 24 sessions. I see the results in my body.

Jon Ponce and Dominic are world-class personal trainers. They are caring and professional and know how to listen to your concern. It is truly a personalized service with a smile. I love this place! I first went to Bench Gym Personal Training about 10 years ago and had the pleasure to train with both Jon Ponce and Dominic. Both of them certainly know what they are doing. They listen to what you want to achieve and then execute and deliver with customized training programs, dieting advice, and continuous encouragement and positive reinforcement.
