Interested in weight loss, bodybuilding, and overall fitness training in a non-judgemental environment? For my entire life, I have always been fascinated about fitness and how a person can dedicate themselves to building a healthier and stronger version of themselves.

From my early childhood fascination with bodybuilding that lead me to win the national championships in Russia to studying to earn my BA in Sports and Science, I have always strived to find ways to help myself and others reach their fitness goals through nutrition and strength training.I have been a personal trainer for over 20 years.

Archy is a great trainer. He loves what he does which make the sessions focused and fun. It's been like going to the gym with a friend who just happens to be really knowledgeable about training, health and nutrition. I've worked with other trainers before but the main thing about training with Archy, that has led to better results is that he doesn't just tell you which exercises to do next.
Your body begins changing as soon as you start working out and eating healthier. But muscles don't grow overnight. An average person can expect to gain 1 to 2 pounds of lean muscle a month, and can expect to lose 1% of body fat per week in the early months of a good diet. At our first session, we develop a nutritional and fitness plan to set you on this path.
With the ubiquity of the internet, smartphones and the various health posts, it's fast becoming common knowledge that the optimal way to burn fat is a to begin a strength training routine and combine it with proper nutrition. My approach to strength training is that every person needs to be pushed and incentivized in different ways as we all have different goals we want achieve.
Ever since my time as a professional athlete, I have dedicated my time researching the key factors to prolonging youth, preventing osteoporosis, arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure and numerous other age-related diseases. There is no doubt that being physically active will help you stay strong and fit enough to keep doing the things you like to do as you get older.
From my years of experience as an athlete competing as a boxer focusing on strength and agility and as a bodybuilder striving to increase muscle mass and maintain low-body fat, I have encountered the same problem as everybody else in meeting my fitness goals. I have tried many diets in the past, but I have often failed.

I have been working out with Archie for the past 2 years. His professionalism and passion for training are so strong that it makes you want to try harder. After all these years I still rely on him for the extra push I need to finish a set instead of just giving up. It's his dedication that drives me to push through. It also surprises me how he comes up with new exercise routines that challenge my body and at the same time bring new energy to our training session. Very  pleasant studio. it has all equipment needed and  you get your own personal gym experience, a no-judgment environment and most importantly, results .
In just a  month, I saw a difference in my physique, stamina, and mental health. Archie does a great job of pushing you. He is a fun and very sweet guy. I am always looking towards our sessions to get distress  from work.
I highly recommend  Archie. You won't be disappointed.

Look no further, Archie is your trainer. The proof is in the pudding--I've been going to him for around 5 months and have already lost nearly 50 pounds (and counting), dropping from around 230 to 184. I hope to drop another 40 in the next few months. And it's not just me: I've been doing the sessions together with my wife, who's also lost 30-40 pounds. Along with the weight loss, we've both seen significant muscle gains.
Archie keeps things incredibly simple. Restrict calories and weight training. That's it. No gimmicks. No endless hours doing cardio (unless you want to, which I do NOT). No fad

For over 15 years I've worked with male and female trainers to prepare for triathlons, half marathons, and overall fitness. However, I'm proud to say my greatest results came while training with Archie!!!
I'm all seriousness, working with Archie from Jan 2017- October 2017 I lost a total of 40lbs, from 201lbs to 161lbs, and got down to 4.5% body fat. In that same span, I completed in my first physique bodybuilding competition and placed 2nd in over 40 and the novice categories.
While the results were great, the real story is in how Archie helped me get there. He prescribed a 1600 calori meal

Archie is great. I just started on my fitness journey after gaining 90 lbs with my last pregnancy. He has been great on working on nutrition as well as fitness. He is very knowledgeable in his field and has been excellent in giving me nutrition suggestions. He is also very talented in working with the super fit and someone like me who is not in shape. It’s been a great start.

I've used multiple trainers in the past 15 years but had yet to find someone that can help with a healthy balance of nutrition guidance, strength training and overall education of a healthy life style, until I met Archie. He truly has a gift of pushing you hard during the training session and making you feel good about it, and helps you to get the best results possible. I have been with many trainers but no one has ever got me in shape as quickly as Archie. Archie truly cares about his clients and was always a text away for any questions whether it was about my workouts or nutrition. Archie is the best! I am in my mid 30s and work a busy desk job and really let myself go - haven't been to the gym in years. I was looking for someone to help with my weight and strength and Archie has delivered on both fronts. I started training with Archie several months ago & it was one of best decisions I've made in a long time. Without question, the best trainer in DC!

I started working out with Archie nearly a decade ago, and have made excellent progress, gaining muscle and leaning up at the same time, What is more, I have maintained it all! This is ALL thanks to Archie's incredible devotion, skills, and knowledge as an excellent trainer.

Arkadiy is my trainer and he is an awesome trainer. "He's a trained bodybuilder and I'm just a beginner. He wouldn't want to train me"-----that thinking is so WRONG. He is very PERSONABLE, explains things, demonstrates, and TEACHES you how to properly do an exercise. Yes, there a many good trainers around but ARKADIY is an EXCEPTIONAL trainer. I am thrilled to have found him.

I find Archie through Yelp, he had great reviews and his gym was just 2 blocks away from my office. Couldn't be happier with my chose, Archie is very knowledgeable about diet and physiology, movement and is constantly switching things up. He customized a diet for me on our first session which was really easy to follow. Archie is very attentive and passionate about his client progress. You are more than just a client, he treats you as a friend. My work took me away from DC, I will really miss working out with Archie. Make no mistake, Archie is the real deal. He is incredibly knowledgeable, has a wonderful personality, and will push you beyond your mental and physical limits. He literally transform my body within a six months. When we started I had a 28 percent of body fat. Six months later it went down to 5.5 , something i could never dreamt of !!!
Add to that that he can teach you exactly how to get your nutrition under control, and teaches me some tricks which makes my diet so much easier.

The best part about working with Archie is that he is hilarious and always insightful. He keeps me always laughing
