They refused to refill my contacts with 6 days left on my prescription. The administrative assistant told me that it was against the law for them to order me contacts with such little time left (something about liability too), unless I came in to get my eyes checked by the doctor. I told them that if they wouldn't order me contacts, that I would get my prescription and go elsewhere. They refused, so I went elsewhere.
I went to Lugonia Vision Center with my prescription and they were happy to help me. Turns out, you can even get a 6 month extension on a prescription!

I feel the staff needs some help; communication is poor. I was told three different stories in the same day by different people. They couldn't find my records or even that I was a patient there. My husband got his EXPENSIVE glasses but he thinks an error was made because he can't see out of them and because of severe physical limitations he can't get back into the office at this time so he does without The doctor is good but staff is often rude and condescending

I would not go anywhere else. I was referred by my best friend here. Dr. Soderblom always answers my questions and validates my concerns. His staff are polite and they go all the way to take care of any issues even on the phone. I feel like I am heard and understood and they always do everything they can to resolve any issues. The other week I ran out of contacts and was overdue for my annual but due to schedule conflicts they offered to give me a complimentary pair of contacts. When they call to confirm they are polite. Customer service is always extremely poor. The receptionist on the phones is very rude and unhelpful. I've been going there for years and they continue to "lose" my insurance information and then deny coverage. Not to mention they never have any available appointments and try to schedule me 3+ weeks out despite my pleas to see me ASAP. I changed optometrists and couldn't be happier.

Things have been improved since my initial visits to LL Optometry and I truly appreciate it since I like doctor here. It is difficult to find a good place where front staff office and the physician is good. Scheduling can be difficult as always with anything right now but they do block off some parking spots specific to the office and it's close to work so it works best for me.

Unfortunately I have give this place a 3 star ,first time here went to get my eye exam, service was a little slow ,got fitted for my glasses 15 days later P/U my progressive glasses come and behold unable to see from them , keep in mind I previously owned progressive glasses went to this place just for replacement do to my dog chewing on them. After paying out of pocket $484.00 + $670.00 billed to my insurance not very pleased with the overall craftsmanship on these lenses. I'll be returning these glasses and making another appointment for correction.

I was in the city visiting a relative at a nearby hospital, when I noticed that I'd cried out one of my contact lenses. I was in a panic because my vision was severely impaired and my drive home was over an hour away.
I quickly found this office and explained my situation and that I needed one contact. The receptionist was very accommodating to my situation. My prescription was faxed over from my Optometrist. When I arrived, not only did they give me one contact...they gave me a 5 day supply for that eye, plus the other eye too! Thank You!!

Dr Soderblom is the best eye doctor around! He makes sure that he takes care of every aspect of your eyes - including family History and any potential future problems. His appointments are never rushed and you can bring any and all concerns to him and he treats you with complete respect. His assistant is also very sweet and really makes sure you have all your tests done correctly and smoothly. She also remembers concerns you had from your last appointment and will follow up! I can not recommend them any higher!

Dr. Soderblom and his staff were fantastic. It was my first time here and from the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff. The technician and Dr. Soderblom did a fantastic job of explaining things as we were doing the tests. My last stop in their office was picking out my frames and lens options. Sonia was not only patient with me, she explained everything from billing to recommendations and suggestions about frames and lenses. They take their time with you and aren't rushing you out of the office. Loved the staff, will definitely be back, and highly recommend them.

Coming to Loma Linda Optometry is always, well, a treat. The staff is friendly and patient and willing to do what is needed so that I am well taken care of. Dr. Soderblom provides a wealth of knowledge about what he is doing during the visit and why and is not opposed to answer any question. He made me feel comfortable about being able to ask questions and encouraged more knowledge about my own eye health. This is the best ophthalmologist I have ever been to. They are comprehensive and use advanced technology to perform a comprehensive eye exam then explain everything to you after! I am very satisfied and they even have a large glasses/prescription sunglasses selection and can order anything you don't find.

Just started coming here a few ago and I'm fairly happy with my experience. Getting an appointment is not to difficult, and they can usually fit you in within 2 weeks. The receptionist have always been nice to me. They text and email you to confirm your appointments and like for everyone to come 10-15 minutes early to fill out paperwork.

The facilities are new and everything is neat and clean. Dr. Soderblom is also very polite and super professional. He asks all of the standard questions and comes across as very patient and accommodating. One time I had to wait for about 15 minutes in the exam room and he kept apologizing for running late. I told him not to worry though, 15 minutes was really not that bad!

RUDEST receptionist ever. I simply called to see if there would be a long wait to get my glasses repaired the same day. She didn't even answer the phone nicely to begin with, then couldn't even answer my question. Just kept saying she doesn't know, cuz I didn't get the glasses at their optometry, and wouldn't be under warranty, blahblah blah. I JUST WANTED TO KNOW HOW MUCH IT WOULD BE TO GET MY LENS FIXED SINCE I AM PAYING. Remind me not to call ever again.
