Motorcycle riders are intensely passionate people that's why we are always planning our next ride, or our next adventure. Annually, Ride It Forward organizes a national Day of Charity Ride supporting dozens of local charities across the country. We also introduce new young riders and military veterans suffering from PTSD to the joys of riding motorcycles through our free Young Rider Experience Program and the Veteran's Incentive Program (V.I.P.)
Internationally, Ride It Forward helps to refurbish orphanages, schools and brings clean water and other life-saving assistance to the world's most vulnerable communities through Journeys of Hope tours. When you gather with other riders for a Ride It Forward's Day of Charity event, you'll be making a difference at a personal level. It's a day of riding that will challenge you to care, help and heal. The BMW Motorcycle Owners of America are stepping up to make this event a reality. The ride will support two local charities and will allow participating riders to learn firsthand about the charity and meet the people who keep it going.
Journeys of Hope are motorcycle tours with groups of adventurous riders traveling through beautiful countries while partnering with local and international charities to help refurbish orphanages, and schools, as well as bringing clean water and other life-saving assistance to some of the world's most vulnerable communities.
This Journey of Hope takes you to Colombia, South America where you will experience breath taking scenic mountain highways, twisty dirt roads, jungles, rivers and waterfalls. We will visit a local orphanage lending a helping hand to spruce up the orphanage and you will help install clean water filters and other life-saving necessities to some of the countries vulnerable communities.
Tour Africa and Ride It Forward are proud to give you the chance to visit these great countries and to help children in need at the same time! This Journey of Hope tour will include scenic paved - and dirt road rides combined with numerous charity projects lined up in the Provinces of Kwa-Zulu Natal, Swaziland and Mpumalanga Lowveld.
The world is changing and so must we to keep the sport of motorcycling alive. By investing our time and money into the Young Rider Experience Programs, it will allow children of similar ages from inner cities the opportunity and ability to ride motorcycles somewhere safe together. Ride It Forward's Young Rider Experience Programs will provide children with motorcycles, protective gear to use and a day of rider training.
