Services
Western Medicine works from the "outside-in". It intervenes with strong man-made pharmaceuticals or surgeries that are designed to take over the body and to repair it like a mechanic might repair a machine. Eastern Medicine stimulates the body's own resources to help it heal from the "inside-out". For example, when a person gets a cut, the body heals from the "inside-out".
Before the initial appointment: Clients fill out an in-depth health history questionnaire. The interview: I will ask you lots of questions about your health and your habits. I will feel your pulse, look at your tongue, observe how you look, and feel your meridians and muscle tension. The treatment: Involves the insertion of very fine, packaged, sterile needles which will elicit little to no discomfort.
