Went to rent a house in the Poconos for a week. I picked out a house and was told they would check with the owner to make sure it was available. Waited never heard back. Called and they said that I would get called back as soon as they heard. Never heard back again. I called, texted and still no response. I found a house elsewhere.

We used an agent here to buy a house in Pocono Pines. The agent was kind and knowledgeable but not thorough. We used the inspector recommended by the agent and he was not as thorough as we were led to believe, either. Once we took possession of the house we ended up spending tens of thousands to repair major issues that needed immediate attention. These issues were things an alert agent should have noticed and an inspector definitely should have noticed. Definitely seemed like getting the commission took precedent over helping us find a quality home.

Rick sold me my vacation home around 7 years ago and I have never regretted a thing about the sale. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area and will give you advice(which you should listen too). I trust him, which is probably the most important thing, because I have dealt with too many shysters in other business dealings. You can't go wrong with him.

Very frustrating to deal with! I had a bad feeling when the communication was a problem from the beginning but went ahead with the rental at 2160 Winona Drive anyway. We were not told about the fees for renting at Arrowhead Lake until after the lease was signed. Excessive amounts of paperwork to look through and deal with. I don't like doing that much paperwork to go on vacation! I have rented in many places and have never had to deal with anything like it. When we arrived the house which was listed as a rental with no pets was full of pet hair. Would have been nice if that was disclosed to us
