Very very disappointed with this office. I took my sick dog (10.5 years old) to get looked at. Well he started out by doing blood work and then came back and said she has stage 3 or 4 kidney disease. Then states she only has roughly 18-90 days to live. But she needs to be on a special diet to help/control the progress of the disease. Ok so I ask… the first time how do I get the food he said I’ll send you a link to order it off my pharmacy and you’ll get it in two or three days (same speed as chewy) ok so I ask a second time what is she to do for food until then (no answer walks

Breeder here. I’ve been taking all of my dogs and litters to Dr. Briles for about a year now and any time they’ve needed something or had an issue, Dr. Briles has been able to quickly diagnose and treat the issue successfully. I also bring all of my dogs and puppies here for preventative care. I’m usually seen very close to my appointment time with minimal waiting. This office is not the cheapest but it is affordable and worth the care and experience you receive. Highly recommend!

I took my kitten here a couple days ago for the first time to get checked and vaccinated and I'm very happy with the service received. The entire staff is friendly and helped create a calming atmosphere which allowed my nervous kitten to decompress. The Veterinarian that saw us was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had and I left confident in the care received. I will definitely return and would recommend this office.

We adopted a puppy from a rescue. We found canyon lake, and took him for an exam. He had parvo. The doctor, and staff started treatment immediately! We couldn't afford the hospital stay, so they treated him as an outpatient. They taught us what to do at home. On day four, he had made a full recovery!
The doctor, and staff never gave up. They are the greatest team. We will always be grateful.

I moved from Pasadena to Humble and I was very nervous about taking my dog to a new vet. However, my first visit here really impressed me. After a couple of visits I can assure you that the doctor and staff were are very friendly and welcoming. My dog doesn’t get scared, in fact he gets excited whenever he sees he’s doctor and the staff. I also like the fact that they send you a cute post card to remind you of your dogs due services as well as a text message to remind you of their appointment.

I don't write many reviews so I hope this review allows you to see just how much I love Canyon Lakes Vet. Dr. Briles and his staff are very kind, patient, and informative. I became a first time husky mom last year and my puppy was exhibiting symptoms of hip dysplasia. The first vet I took him too pretty much dismissed us and said puppies can't have hip dysplasia. My boyfriend then brought our husky to Canyon Lakes and from the start they took us very seriously. Unfortunately our husky was born with severe hip dysplasia, however, through care and the teamwork of Canyon Lakes and his hydro-therapist

Dr. B and his team are incredible. They literally saved my dog Tyson’s life after a copperhead bite. I called ahead and they were ready when we arrived. They were fast, informative, respectful, and most… importantly, they were compassionate.
One of the first things I told them was that I didn’t care how much it would cost, I just needed them to save my little man. I genuinely expected a good $3,000-$4,000 bill, but was floored when everything, including an overnight stay, was less than $1,400. 10/10 I highly recommend Dr. B and his team.
