Bridgeville Animal Hospital (BVAH, ) was incorporated by Joanna Rubin, VMD in October of 2000. Originally located in Bethel Park, PA and called Bethel Park Animal Hospital, the location was moved in 2005 to make room for the new Lowes, to Bridgeville, PA. Dr. Rubin graduated in 1997 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
We happily welcomed Krista Morrison, MVB in July of this year who graduated from the University of Dublin's Veterinary School in Dublin, Ireland. BVAH is a full service animal hospital. Our Doctors see routine exams, less urgent medical problems as well as, surgical, and dental cases. If you have a medical emergency please call our office for instructions.

I am writing to thank you for the wonderful care my precious god Oscar received during his recent dental procedure. You have been encouraging me for some time to have a dental procedure done for Oscar as his teeth were in very bad condition- leaving his breath terrible. I was reluctant to have my dog undergo the procedure because of his age.

There’s always new help here and she can’t keep a doctor here she’s rude she has yelled at my dogs before who are gentle giantsShe has her favorites I am sure but I wouldn’t go here they milk you for money Constantly Dr Rubin is RUDE! All of the positive comments or over the years ago when they had other doctors there FYI and every other comment that’s positive currently is from the staff for their friends

I took my 3.5 month old puppy here for her general visit for a puppy after her vaccines. All I can say is that the staff is nice, but Dr. Rubin is one of the most disrespectful people that I have ever met. She spent most of the visit scolding me bc my 3.5 month old puppy still has the puppy biting issues every puppy has when excited. She then continued to grab my dog by her mouth and squeeze her jaw shut and tapped her on her nose. My dog is a bloodhound who is in training for Search and Rescue, and their noses are very very sensitive. Dr. Rubin then spent several minutes scolding me again saying

Dr. Rubin has been a huge part of my life for well over 10 years now. I feel it is very important to have a relationship with the Doctor that takes care of your furbabies. She has been with me through the hard times, and the good times. In the hard times, I'm grateful for everything that this office has done, not only for me, but my critters. The office staff is caring and understanding. They know you, they know your animals better. Covid has thrown a huge wrench in things, but this staff, and Doctors, are doing what they do. They are caring for your hairy family member. My personal experience

Arrogance. Have taken my dogs there for two years and not once seen on time. Had an appointment today for heart worm related treatment and because of construction and having to work to make the money to pay them with I was running 15mins late. Called to give them a heads up and was basically told to reschedule and try to be on time next time. I can't believe the hubris we were treated with . My kids heard the conversation on the phone because we were in the car and were distraught. This vet DOES NOT CARE.

I’ve been taking my pets here for countless years and two vets recently quit because of Dr. Rubin. Now you can’t get an appointment here because there’s no staff and they won’t recommend you anywhere else. Dr. Rubin wanted to put my 10 year old cat to sleep to clean her teeth but this was never recommended by the other two vets before. The cat has has bad teeth all her life. The practice is clearly short on money and they will blame covid for everything. I will be looking for a new vet for my 3 pets as will one of my family members that also goes here.

I bring both of my rough Collies to Bridgeville Animal Hospital and not only do we absolutely love all the staff and Dr. Aldinger, but our dogs do too! They are professional, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and welcoming. Dr. Aldinger is our absolute favorite and we wouldn’t take our babies to anyone else. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic Veterinarian.
