Our team strives to provide a comfortable environment for our patients and clients. Whether two-legged or four, we want everyone to feel welcome as soon as they enter our veterinary clinic.

Dr. Alan Mann took over in 1992 and in 2007 opened the doors to our larger facility on the same property. We currently have six veterinarians on staff and offer a wide range of medical services and surgeries for dogs, cats, and exotic companion animals.

Services
At Greentree Animal Clinic, we believe annual wellness care is imperative to keeping your pet happy and healthy! Your pet's health is important and preventive care is necessary. We recommend wellness exams, keeping your pets on a vaccination schedule, and working with us on all facets of wellness care.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your reviews. Your feedback helps our team continue to provide the best possible experience for our patients. Very happy with how flexible they have been with getting appointments scheduled, and Dr Sullivan and the staff of vet techs really seem to care about my dogs.
Our puppy wellness program is designed to help get your puppy started on the right path to a long and healthy life. The first few months are a critical period in your puppy's development, and we can give you the support and tools necessary to help him or her grow into a well-mannered, healthy dog, including information and advice on nutrition, training, behavior, and socialization.
Snakes can suffer from a variety of diseases, some of which can cause serious respiratory, gastrointestinal, and liver problems. They also commonly harbor internal and external parasites, including hookworms, roundworms, mites, and ticks. We recommend that you bring your new snake in for an initial exam so we can make sure it's healthy.
Imagine what your mouth would feel like if you never brushed your teeth or went to the dentist. For many dogs and cats, this is a painful reality. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, more than 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have dental disease by the age of 3. Dental (or periodontal) disease is the most frequently diagnosed health problem in pets.

Our first time here, and it was fantastic! Staff was super friendly, and the vet was awesome. I had lots of questions and the vet answered them thoroughly and explained everything perfectly. She even checked for more than we came in for just to make sure our kitty was completely well! And the price for the service was great too! We will definitely be returning with all of our pets.

I called because my pup was experiencing an ear infection and they got him in right away with not much waiting time when I arrived. The office staff, the nurse and the vet were all incredibly nice, gentle with him and knowledgeable. I have 5 dogs and 2 cats, so they will be getting a lot of business from me! I highly recommend. Thank and Milo is feeling much better!

First, I would like to commend Dr. David Brown for his excellent and professional care. He is caring and compassionate always and I feel that he loves my dogs. I would also like to compliment the staff at Greentree Animal clinic. From the front desk staff to the techs to the pharmacist, everyone is cheerful, kind and professional. Great job!!

I recently took my dog for his yearly check up and was blown away by the excellent care he received. The pharmacy who were extremely helpful & knowledgeable set me up with a protocol for anxious dogs called the “Chill Protocol”. This was a god send for my dog. He was less anxious & the exam was calming for both him & myself. The vet & vet tech also went above & beyond to make my dog & myself more comfortable during the exam. From continuously petting him to even humming to calm him & relax him. Highly recommend especially if you have an anxious pet.

Greentree Animal Clinic is wonderful. I have one well-behaved 5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog who they have always been so great with. I also have a 1 year old Bernese Mountain Dog who is so stubborn and difficult. They do everything possible to make him feel welcomed and loved. I will recommend Greentree Animal Clinic to anyone who needs a great vets office. FYI-first pic is my good girl Ruby and second pic is my trouble maker Archie.

I honestly can not speak high enough of Greentree Animal Clinic. We've been seeing Dr. Brown for years and he goes above and beyond with the most excellent care for our cat/baby Jagger. I have so much confidence with his exceptional and thorough exams for Jagger. I wish we had known Dr. Brown years ago when our other animals were alive. He is truly the absolute BEST you could ever ask for!!!!! The clinic is spotless too. The staff are great! They are just all around the best animal hospital that you can truly count on!!!!!

I took my dogs and cat to Greentree Animal Clinic, when I lived in Pittsburgh last year. If I had not moved out of state, I would still be using this veterinarian. Dr. Alan Mann is kind and intuitive in the care he provided for my animals. The staff is very friendly and has even provided emotional support when I was struggling with caring for my aging pets.

Dr. Kelly and her team are very thorough in exams as well as addressing any concerns you may have regarding testing or general questions about your pet and its health. The fees are affordable too and I'm never cringing on how much of a high vet bill I'm going to end up with vs other vets that barely take time to look at my dog. Alyssa at the front desk is also very personable on phone and in person and very prompt in any questions or concerns you have. I am so happy to have found this great vet!

I absolutely love this office. Everyone there is so friendly and truly cares. They know you when you call or when you walk in. They will not charge you an arm and leg - completely reasonable for the care you are receiving. Dr. Brown is fantastic. Can't say enough good about this place. If your pet is having any issues, or you just need your regular checkup, this is the place to go!

I love everything about the Greentree Animal Clinic. I have never had a bad experience and have recommended this clinic to numerous friends and family members, all which have had similar experiences. Even over the phone, everyone is so kind and attentive. It makes the veterinary experience extremely pleasant even on those not so great days!

Dr.David Brown is amazing.
My dog has gone through three different complications over the past few years. Dr.Brown has been a godsend in treating my pup; I previously had another vet that couldn't cure my dogs mange, After one visit with Dr.Brown he adjusted her meds and in three days showed 100% improvement. Most recently she suffered a lens luxation and was diagnosed with glaucoma,I was depressed and heart broken to find out the opthemologist @PVSEC she would most likely be losing one of her eyes, I took her to Dr.Brown for a second opinion and follow up, he was able to (again) switch

I went to Dr. Mann for years with my childhood dog and never experienced any problems. As an adult, I returned with my own dog and was treated horribly. I brought my dog in for a limp (she was 11 months old) and explained she was holding a leg up while she peed and was often limping after long walks. She also sat very strangely, pushing her legs out behind her, even when sitting up straight. He told me it was simply growing pains and maybe I should check with my husband before I brought her in for anything so ridiculous again. The dismissive and sexist attitude didn't sit well with me. I then

Three months ago I brought my 13 yr old golden retriever to this clinic for an ear problem. It was diagnosed and treated. Shortly after returning home she started to cough and gag like. I watched her for a couple hours do this and then called the vet to see if maybe she was having an allergic reaction to the medicine they gave her. She was very uncomfortable. I asked if they though she needed to come back to the office. The dr told me that it sounded like she was overheated and to put cold towels on her. I told him that I didn't think that was the problem because she hadn't been

I am so happy to have found this place. They were very helpful, informative and thorough. My dog needed to have her teeth cleaned and pulled. We had an initial assessment appointment to make sure she was healthy, they also ran blood tests. We dropped her off in the morning, a couple hours later the surgeon called to let us know she was doing well, but that he would have to pull a lot of teeth (I wasn't surprised). It was so nice and considerate of him to do that. It was a good price too.

When I first moved to Pittsburgh I was nervous about finding a vet for my beloved dog. I just happen to come across Greentree Animal Clinic. I was more than satisfied with the service both my dog and I received from our first visit. When a cat adopted ME, there was no question in my mind where to take her for her medical needs. I will continue to take my pets here. They are kind, knowledgable, and caring. I feel they are genuinely concerned with the health of my pet and take the time to answer any questions I have. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of a veterinarian.

I can;t believe this place has a high rating. I had a bichon, who was seen here since his puppyhood and who was dying. I called to make an appointment to have him put down because he was in great pain. The receptionist would not give me an appointment until one week later, even though she could hear him crying out in pain. Anyway, he died in agony before his appointment. This was in 2010 and I have not taken my subsequent pets to the clinic.

I cannot praise this place enough. I have worked as a vet tech in a previous job and have had experiences at numerous facilities here in Pittsburgh and Greentree Animal Clinic blows them all out of the water. Key things that you should note about this place:
* They do not over charge
* They only recommend services/things that they genuinely believe will help your pet, not their bottom line and they do not pressure you in any way
* They are respectful and genuine to you and your pet which is hard to come by nowadays
* Everyone from the front desk to the techs, to the vets are kind, patient and understanding

I think it's safe to say that I love my cat more than some people love their children...
So, my little monster got sick. My 10 year old indoor cat was walking around with a stuffy nose and breathing heavy. I never take her to the vet. She has been happy and healthy and, you know, she's a cat. I kind of let nature do it's thing. However, this is my furry child and no way am I going to let her suffer. I checked out Angies List, and found this place was close by, had great reviews, and most importantly, could get me in immediately.
Now, had I not returned for a second visit, this
