From the most basic dishes to the extreme dishes, fresh ingredients from local sources are key. We support local farmers and other local companies whenever possible to provide you with an exceptional culinary experience.

Food has a huge impact on the success of your corporate events, and plays a powerful part in supporting your brand, building relationships and establishing your culture. We get that and we can work with you to bring the art of food into your event. It's what we do best. Planning your wedding day can be overwhelming and, at times, exhausting if you don't have the right partners.
Kevin and the KJ Catering team catered our wedding just a couple weeks back and did an amazing job! They were very professional, accommodating, great presentation, and the food was incredible. In addition to being a great chef, Kevin was a wonderful person to work with! He is personable and cares about making your day special.
Prime Rib - Market price you can have our prime rib smoked or oven roasted for 6 to 8 hours with our rib rub. Smoked Beef Brisket - Slow smoked beef brisket, rubbed with our special signature BBQ rub and smoked for 10 to 12 hours. Served with pretzel bun, sourdough or potato roll. BBQ sauce on the side.
Please include your menu selection and budget for the event if you know what you would like!. If you are sending a potential menu, we will get a quote back to you as soon as possible for your review. Please know that the menu you send it not set in stone and can be modified to fit your event or your budget.

KJ Catering offers a fantastic assortment for any occasion. We first discovered KJ while looking for a handful of Thanksgiving meals for our staff. The food was excellent! We used them again for the company Christmas celebration. The smoked brisket was fantastic. The chicken was also great. We highly recommend KJ Catering.

We were having a destination wedding in northern Michigan and found your website. Kathie was quick to respond and easy to work with even from a distance. (Everything was handled over email ). The day of the wedding the girls showed up right on time , they were so thoughtful and hardworking and took care of everything ! THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING, people are still raving!!!! KJ was wonderful to work with---the event turned out so well! Kathie was extremely helpful our plans changed, changed again, and changed again due to COVID restrictions. Chef Kevin is fantastic, even willing to take a moment to answer questions about why the food was so good. Thanks to the other staff who helped as well. Everyone was so nice, and the brisket and smoked chicken got tons of compliments.

KJ’s was amazing! They traveled up north for my wedding to cater and it was perfect. They were super helpful throughout the wedding planning and flexible as covid changed our plans. We had brisket, chicken, cheesy potatoes, Mac and cheese and vegetables and the guests could not stop complimenting the food. Definitely recommend!
