Since 1858 our family has been serving the people in the metro-east area. We are now in our fifth and sixth generations. H. Quernheim Company was founded in Maeystown in 1858 by Balthasar Heinrich Quernheim who immigrated to America from Germany in 1854. As a skilled cabinetmaker he was called upon to make coffins.
It is our greatest pleasure to hear from families we've served after the service is over. We receive many letters, cards and emails thanking us for our care and attention during their time of need and those words warm our hearts and affirm that we are truly here to serve.
