Best eye doctor I've ever been to!
Dr. Nelson is friendly and professional and extremely knowledgeable. I always opt for the first appointment of the day because as with every medical office things happen and get backed up. I've never had any issues getting in and when I've had a problem where I needed to be seen same day they have always found the time.
I highly recommend this office!

Update - I was promised a return call once they started setting appointments again but never got one. I found another provider.
I originally gave 1 star because I had been having issues getting in for an appointment, and was pretty disappointed in different areas, including a couple of which they don't really have control over. After speaking to Dr Allen, I am very impressed that he cared enough to call and try to make it right, I have changed my review to a 4. In this day when customer service goes out the window, it's nice to know when some businesses want to keep their customers.

I have to be clear i am not a patient at the moment, however my first encounter was to call and inquire about becoming a new patient as my current eye Dr is a corporate entity that does not do a thorough exam or put their patients first. so i called knowing that it was a shot in the dark as i run a medical facility and i know the struggles with demanding clients that are stressed and difficult at the moment. so i had the pleasure of speaking with Bri( i believe this was her name). even though she was unable to accept me at the moment which i expected, i could hear in her voice how much she was

I was very pleased with my first visit after recently moving to CNY. Everyone I dealt with was personable, efficient and knowledgeable. I didn't wait long and did not feel pressured to buy new glasses because of a small prescription change. My only problem is my wife, who also needs a new eye doctor, called and was told no new patients are being accepted.

My son and I have been clients of Allen Eye Associates for over 5 years. The office is beautiful and everyone there is very nice, helpful, courteous and efficient. Dr. Cummings is great. I've moved from Canastota NY to East Syracuse, and I will still travel to Oneida to remain in their care. Two thumbs up!

The associates were knowledgeable and friendly and went above and beyond to assist me in obtaining suitable glasses. The exam was thorough and the opthalmologist was very pleasant and took his time with me and eager to answer any questions I had. I would recommend Allen Eye Associates to my friends, family and anyone.
