Jzanus Home Care has been providing home care services to Long Island and NYC area families for over 29 years. Our first location in Floral Park, New York, opened in 1992, and has since expanded to three locations to better serve the Long Island and NYC community. Our primary purpose is to enhance the quality of life of our clients by providing easy access to safe and effective care.
The Jzanus Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) is an alternative to traditional home care. CDPAP is a Medicaid-funded program that permits the consumer or designated representative to administer and assume responsibility for their own care or the care of their loved one.
As a consumer enrolled in this program, you or your designated representative are authorized to hire, train, supervise, and manage the Personal Care Aide caring for you.You are in complete charge of your care and who provides it for you. How do I become a CDPAP consumer?

As your loved ones age, many seemingly simple household chores become significantly more difficult. Homemaking Care ensures that food stays fresh, clean clothes are always available, and obstacles that can cause falls are eliminated. In some cases, "help" may just be having a second set of hands to assist with daily tasks.
When a loved one needs around-the-clock care, at home or in a nursing facility, Jzanus Home Care can be there. One of our Registered Nurses will meet with you to evaluate needs, create a detailed Personalized Care Plan, and ensure that it's carried out to the letter.
Our clients' Personalized Care Plans are reviewed on a regular basis to monitor changes, and to ensure that the level of care received is in line with the level of care needed at any given moment.

Jzanus Personal Care Aides provide you with peace of mind when it matters most. Our Personal Care Aides attend to the more basic activities of daily living - they do not provide the same health care management services as our Home Health Aides, but are available to assist clients with an array of care needs - from bathing and dressing, to household tasks like laundry and light housekeeping.

Updating this to say our case manager was let go and the new one has been very helpful and kind. Not updating my rating because it took years of complaints from people about this woman for them to finally do something about it and we weren't informed that she was let go until I called and spoke to a supervisor to ask why she wasn't answering my emails or calls. I am no longer with this agency.

I give Jzanus FIVE stars. I love them all so much. The CD PAP program is amazing and professional. Before I posted I read other reviews. There are dozens of positive posts. But to the two individuals that complained, I would like to say this. There is a global pandemic going on. These essential workers risk their lives every day to help each of us. Yes, sometimes mistakes may happen. Everyone is scared. Everyone is on edge, but let's take the time to appreciate the HEROES at Jzanus and other heroes that risk their lives and sacrifice themselves each and every day to make our lives better. I love

This is the most unprofessional, unorganized, rude agency I have ever had the displeasure of working with. The case manager for the family I work for cancelled my orientation appointment the morning of (sent us paperwork via email and expected me to sign off on things I was never informed of due to no orientation) and sent important documents to the wrong address multiple times, then expected US to fix the situation. Our case manager repeatedly yells over us and is incredibly rude over the phone after claiming things that SHE never explained were done incorrectly. Instead of owning up to the fact

A loved one went through 5 aids within 2 months. Aids are paid minimum wage and it shows. Don't be fooled by their website, which has pictures of young, attractive, and fit models dressed in medical coats. Age of aids are mid-forties and over and in declining health - obese, etc. Poor English language skills, which makes it frustrating for the patient to direct them.
They are directed to clock in and out from patient's cell phone. One aid had the nerve to go into my loved one's contacts and deleted information. After this was reported, future aids clocked in from their own phones.

I have been with that agency for nearly 5 years now ..
It's a wonderful place to work for. They work as a real team . They treat caregivers the same way the treat their clients. They always always pay on time , not even once I had an issue with the payroll. The staff is wow. 👍🏼👍🏼 I do not have no experience with the other offices , but the Floral Park staff is amazing, ❤️❤️❤️
