Anchor Direct Primary Care is a family. While the public face for Anchor is Dr. Matthew Rensberry, the Anchor DPC family is built upon a core of four close friends. This practice is built upon a dream. It is the dream of medical care delivered in a way that we want it delivered for ourselves. The four of us met together, dreamed together, shared together many times in the process of shaping what has developed into Anchor Direct Primary Care.
We provide comprehensive outpatient Family Medicine service including sick care, health maintenance, and office-based procedures. In other words, we can handle 80% to 90% of all your medical needs. Extended/Relaxed Visits: Appointments are 30 minutes - you are not rushed and your visit starts on time.
Anchor Direct Primary Care uses a membership model because we are convinced this is the best way to provide high quality medical care. A direct primary care practice is patient focused, not problem focused. The traditional medical system, comprised of rushed visits and brief encounters, does not allow for the development of a productive or meaningful doctor-patient relationship.
While we can care for long term diseases and those short term illnesses, our primary goal is to keep you healthy. We care about you as a whole person. Our desire is to help you live a rewarding life, achieving your healthcare goals. To that end, we work with you to help you by providing physicals, health screenings, and also help you lose weight or stop smoking.
