If your primary care physician (PCP) is also a DO (as in Priya Maharaj, DO) which is a Doctor of Osteopathy, then you have an added advantage. Your DO is a licensed and accredited Family Practice Physician, of course, but has added neuro musculoskeletal training which allows her to manipulate the spine and body, providing relief from pains and discomfort.

My husband says I’m obsessed with Dr. Maharaj. It’s possible. She is a genius and has helped me through several health issues. She manages to always know right away what is going on with me-she’s better than the “specialists” I’ve had to see. I can’t brag about her and her entire staff enough. I’m very thankful for them.

II had been looking for a primary care physician but was unsure of where to start. I read the great reviews all over the internet about this practice and Dr. Maharaj and I thought it would be a great fit! I called to set up my appointment stating that there was no particular reason for the visit other than a wellness check and establishing myself with a primary care doctor. They didn't have anything for new patients for several months but that's fairly normal and a good physician is worth the wait. While the doctor is amazing, the staff is deserving of one star. They charged the incorrect insurance number for what should have been a free annual check up for me, and sent me a bill for over $200. Then, when I went into the office and cleared it up, they kept sending me bills and eventually sent it to collections. Now two years later, I am still dealing with collections. This should have been a free visit for me and I'm not paying this.

I have been seeing Dr.Maharaj for a little over a year. I feel like she is the answer to my prayers. She is straight to the point, caring and attentive to all my medical needs. Her staff represents her well too. They too are so nice every single time I go in, busy or not busy, I feel cared for, listened and always leave very very satisfied that I have someone that listens to me and cares for me. I am aware that not all doctors fit a certain patient. So it goes both ways. Listen to your doctor and he/she will listen to you. If you’re not a good patient, she can’t help you really. Absolutely
