Our friends ordered us a plain king cake via Uber eats and wow! It was fresh, delicious, moist, fluffy, and perfectly sweetened. As someone said, the ratio of icing to dough is spot on. Addictive. Give it a try!

Stop in for a treat! We drove out of the way for this stop and I'm thrilled that we did.

A wonderful little assortment of fresh baked goods in a no frills shop. A couple of cases with king cakes, birthday cakes, muffins, apple pies, cinnamon rolls, and many other sweets. I always have a lot of questions when faced with tough decisions like this. Took a minute for the woman behind the counter to warm up, but she ended up walking me through all of the options.

I reached out Heavenly Sweets in short notice and stressed because I really need a cake within a couple of days. Heavenly Sweets executed everything I asked of them in the short time span.

If you're looking for a cake for any event, Heavenly Sweets Bakery is absolutely the place for you. We met with Trinise back in March 2021 to sample some cakes and make sure it would be a good fit for our wedding. We were immediately astounded by how welcoming Trinise was and blown away by how delicious everything tasted. We were even able to bring samples back to our family to include them in the planning/tasting process. Communication with Trinise was so easy and coordinating for the day of was flawless. Trinise and her team created a wedding and groom's cake that were so shockingly beautiful

Heavenly Sweets has the best chocolate cake doughnut I have ever tasted. It tasted like buttery poundcake topped with milk chocolate ganache--and yet was NOT overly sweet or heavy--but definitely filling. I ate before taking a picture of the doughnut.I also got a banana nut loaf for the house and a mini sweet potato pie for the Teen.

I went in to sample some items. I picked out a cream filled glazed donut, cinnamon roll, and upside down muffin. All the items were fresh and carefully produced (the density was just right). It's tough to describe but the goods were uplifting and not heavy.

I ordered a red velvet cake for my fiancé's birthday. Picked it up on time without any issues. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the cake was amazing! We were really impressed. Will definitely be coming back!!!

I got a birthday cake for my friend and it was decorated just how I wanted and it was SO CUTE!! Cake had a good flavor as well I had chocolate with vanilla icing. The baker is very sweet woman.

Ordered a Baby Shark theme cake from Heavenly Sweets for 1 year old BDay Party... The cake was fabulous and delicious.... Attendees said it was the best cake they had ever eaten; it was moist and flavorful... The artistry was reflective of the theme of the cake and did not disappoint ....

Great little bakery in Gentilly. My favorite are their fresh baked cinnamon rolls, but they have everything you can think of - muffins, doughnuts and other pastries, petit fours, cakes, and pies. A small dining area plus community coffee.

They make everything fresh and I wanna take a moment to highlight the seeet potato pie. IT. IS. DIVINE. Definitely the best sweet potato pie I've ever had the privilege of devouring. During Mardi Gras they stuff king cakes with their sweet potato pie filling (it won at King Fest one year)!!

Was referred to the bakery with the intent of having three Birthday cakes made for my Birthday... Sadly to say after the first conversation I had with one of the owners the other owner followed up by email and said she would give me a call to follow up on the order however, that never happened, then I received an email saying that I would receive a call on Tuesday which that didn't happen. I absolutely love this bakery. My first taste if their goodness was a few days after Valentine's Day. I bought a tiny cake, almond flavored with poured icing. It was delicious...even days old. I've tried many of their baked goods since then and have loved them all. The folks I've treated to their goodies have been equally pleased. Favorites: donuts, pies, eclairs, king cake, petit fours, and, my personal favorite, white (almond-flavored) cake by the slice. Recently, I had them make my birthday cake. I was beyond pleased. They worked with me to give me just what I wanted

My go-to spot for donuts. I usually get glazed donuts and the blueberry glazed as well. Delicious every time. I brought a dozen to work with me and they were gone within minutes! I highly recommend this place.

This is a hidden gem in the gentilly area! We happened upon this corner bakery and it did not disappoint. We bought a pound cake and donuts which were all fresh and so goooood! They have a nice area inside with high top seating, or you can get anything for takeout. My favorite is the blueberry glazed donut! However I think you'll see that everything is tasty in this little bakery.

My first visit was on 2/09/19, and I was impressed by the assortments of cakes and pastries. I purchased a small traditional/plain King Cake, and it was delicious! Very fresh and perfect balance of colored sugar to icing glaze. The ladies who assisted me were very polite as well. I will definitely be a returning customer!

This bakery may be small, but it is huge with freshness, flavor and friendliness!! My daughter and I stopped by to pick up an apple fritter and even though they were sold out of fritters, they had many other sweet treats to choose from. Absolutely LOVE this bakery! It’s been my go-to King Cake bakery since I first tasted one a few years ago when they were called Sweet Savors.. And it’s not just the King Cakes, everything I’ve ever had from here has been amazing. And the customer service is always just as great.
