A: Gainesville has its own team of physicians, plus a medical director and other contracted physicians, such as podiatrists, to help meet your needs. Q: Do you offer outpatient services? A: We currently serve the needs of inpatient rehabilitations, and do not currently offer outpatient services.

If you care about the health of your elderly loved one- DO NOT leave them here. They neglected and almost killed my grandmother. They wouldn't put her glasses on her, put a diaper on her rather than help her on and off the toilet (easier I guess), and let a wound fester on her leg. We brought her home and in the same night had to take her to the hospital. These people are soulless monsters. If I could give zero stars I would.

I have been waiting for almost an hour to have a bag drained with no assistance in sight. I realize the pressure health care workers are under at this time but the call button has not been responded to in an hour. I had to use my cell phone to get any response and still no action on draining the bag.

I've been visiting Gainesville Health & Rehab for several years and think it's top notch. The leadership team is very supportive of the entire staff, motivating them to always provide great service. The commitment to quality extends beyond nursing into all the departments, including those who don't have as much contact with the residents and patients. The nursing and rehab teams (among others)do an awesome job of preparing patients to return safely back home after a hospital stay. It's so inspiring to see the patients sometimes walk out of the center with grateful hearts

I will return to this Yelp review in a day or two to give more specific details and post some pictures I have taken, but let me quickly say STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
My mother has been here for a few days now and this place is HORRIBLE! The staff are cold and could care less about my mother. Last night they made her sleep in a urine soaked bed all night, at every meal have given her (she is a diabetic) high carbohydrate and high sugar meals and desserts and consistently try to avoiding helping her when we ask for basics. Why are these people in the health"care" business?

I agree with the first reviewer, Elliot H. - Gainesville Health & Rehabilitation Center is not a place I would choose to place someone - after our family's experience with this facility.
Our Mother stayed here for two weeks. Most rooms are shared rooms - so there are two patients per room, separated by a curtain.
During that time, the medication schedule for pain medication for my Mother was routinely ignored, and Nursing staff were extremely slow to respond to the "call" button. Every time I visited and was sitting with my Mother - and she needed something, she would press

The Director of Nursing "K.S." at this facility is extremely unprofessional when addressing the nursing staff. The DON at this facility will berate her employees in a demeaning way in front of co-workers and patients. This causes a high turnover of the nursing staff which directly causes a disproportionate nurse to patient ratio. Low employee morale. It all starts at the top......poor upper management. With that said....the Nursing Staff on the floor is still able to be cordial, professional and provide great care to the patients.

This place is absolutely awful. My Grandfather contracted the MRSA virus here after a hip replacement surgery and it nearly killed him. The nurses are rude and didn't check his wound daily for infections and therefore he was readmitted to the hospital and put in a convalescent center for 6 months. Now, almost 2 years later the MRSA has returned and he has to have the entire operation again. If you care about your loved ones, do not put them here. The carelessness and laziness of staff put my family through a very difficult time.
