We exclusively work with worker's compensation cases. Our systematic approach progresses the injured worker through the stages of rehabilitation using objective clinical measures, not solely based on subjective pain ratings. We rehabilitate injured workers to an optimal performance level by incorporating cardiovascular fitness, correct body mechanics, coordination, strength, endurance, & flexibility.
Our custom-built facility is purpose-built to successfully rehabilitate the injured worker. The constant focus is reintroducing the injured worker to full or modified work levels by using simulations and conditioning to restore functionality. Our highly trained staff coordinates care with case managers, physicians, and patients located throughout Northern Virginia.

Services
Unlike other rehabilitation services, we exclusively work with worker's compensation cases and adhere to the Official Disability Guidelines (ODG) set forth by the Work Loss Data Institute. The ODG provides the most up-to-date evidence-based medical treatment and rehabilitation timetables used to determine disability duration guidelines.
Our mission at Industrial Health is to assist in case resolution of the injured worker. By combining traditional Physical Therapy with advanced, customized Work Hardening or Conditioning, we create the most beneficial, applicable rehabilitation programs for each worker.
Our facilities are second to none in terms of being flexible enough to create accurate work simulation environments, and our team of therapists has the expertise to develop results-producing programs. We provide injured workers with the opportunity to perform his or her specific work skill set. This progressive program safely moves the injured worker through functional rehabilitation within a timeline.

Our Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) compare the injured workers physical ability to the physical demands of their job, while objectively measuring effort and reliability. The results of these comprehensive examination provide unbiased data to aid in the determination of client's work status. This four to five hour test determines the appropriate course of action needed to progress towards case resolution.
Industrial Health's highly specialized Work Hardening and Work Conditioning programs break individuals from the "patient role" and allow them to transition back into the "worker role." Work Hardening provides a transition between a worker's short-term care and his or her return to work while addressing the issues of productivity, safety, physical tolerances and work behaviors.

I had a great work hardening experience with Industrial Health. I had never heard of work hardening until my doctor ordered it for me and my case manager told me Industrial Health was a great option. I was skeptical at first; any time a worker's compensation case manager chooses a location it raises red flags. I was pleasantly surprised with this choice. Kelly and Julianne were focused on getting me healthy instead of just getting me back to work. That makes a huge difference. I felt stronger and more able to get back to my daily activities with their assistance. Over 6 weeks I made more physical

In my experience these guys work for WMC insurance and not patient, they try to sent you back with positive improvement to be sent back to work fair or unfair, this brings in more business for them from WMC insurance who pays them for the therapy, I gave them a detailed review before but it has been removed so briefly in my opinion an injured worker should go to an honest therapy to get better prior going back to work, I wouldn't rate them appropriate for work injury therapy based upon my experience.
