Saint Patrick provides an educational experience of the highest quality which enables young men to develop their maximum potential as lifelong learners and assets to society and the Church. I first stepped through those doors as a confused, immature teenage boy and will leave as a mature young man ready to take on whatever life throws at me.
Saint Patrick set an example for how I should continue to live my life after graduation with the strong morals and values instilled in me during my four years there. I cannot think of a better environment for my son to spend the next 4 very formative years! Great school with devoted teachers! I enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend the school to anyone looking for an outstanding education.

For me, life has officially come full circle as I begin a new era as the third President of Saint Patrick High School. I am honored to be back home and to serve the school that infinitely blessed me for four years. The calling to help convert our boys into young men is a dream come true.

History

Saint Patrick High School was founded by the Christian Brothers in 1861, as Chicago was undergoing rapid growth. It served boys from the area in which it was located, Des Plaines and Adams Streets. Later, as the city continued to grow, industry developed around the school and the students came instead from more outlying areas and later from suburbs because their fathers were alumni of the school.
Attendance Office

Medical appointments are expected to be made outside of school hours. However, if necessity requires you to be absent for a reason other than illness you must request permission in writing 24 hours in advance of the appointment from the Attendance Officer. Other early dismissals (funeral, traffic court, etc.) follow the same procedure.
Cafeteria Service

Saint Patrick High School's cafeteria service is run through Quest Food Management and our Mealtime Debit System. Quest Food Management has been providing nutritious meals in a clean and friendly manner at Saint Patrick High School for the past 20 years! The MealTime System allows you to deposit money into an account, which a student then uses to purchase lunch using his Student ID card.

Saint Patrick High School is, above all else, a Catholic institution rooted in the Lasallian tradition begun by our founder, Saint John Baptist de La Salle (1651-1719), founder of the Christian Brothers and Patron of all Teachers.
