Cranford Rehab and Nursing Center is dedicated to meeting and exceeding the needs of every individual in our care. Our goal is to enable each resident to be as independent as possible. We are able to accomplish this goal with our 24-hour skilled nursing staff and highly trained and dedicated rehabilitation staff.
We offer caring and progressive rehab options for residents requiring short term skilled nursing rehabilitation. Our rehab program is also supported onsite by two Physiatrists. Our goal is to reduce hospitalizations and achieve optimal function for our residents. With our newly remodeled rehabilitation wing, which includes flat screen TVs and free cable, your stay will be comfortable and enjoyable.
Cranford Rehab and Nursing Center provides quality long term care services for individuals who require the security of 24/7 supervision. Daily activities from Bingo to religious services stimulate the residents' need for social interaction, mental, and physical stimulation. The Dietary staff provides three quality meals and a daily snack based on resident preferences.

March 2021 I received a phone call from a nurse that my dad had passed.
Dad was transported to the facility a week prior to his death. I made arrangements to have the funeral service transport my dad. I asked the funeral service if they received dad's suitcase with his belongings. They said no. I called the facility to collect my dad's suitcase with his belonging. The rep said that the nurse should have it. On another call I made, the day nurse could not locate it. She said she would ask the supervisor and the next shift supervisor and call me back. I never received a call. I called two more times

Cranford Rehabilitation I have been associated because my wife Karamjit Kaur Uberoi was transferred from St Barbarnas Livingston NJ in September 2021 .I along with my son Dante and my sister Darshan Sethi have visited the esteemed facility on regular basis and all of us are of the option that the facility is well administered ,the staff is well trained , very polite and promt to provide help care needed .A very neat and clean environment with disciplined staff right from the receptionist onwards . We Wish good luck to one and all .

My mother was a patient there in the rehabilitation side. I give 5 stars for many reasons. The nurses were a+ always helpful, when mom asked for anything it was done immediately, it was also super clean all the time. The physical therapists were nothing less the awesome they treated her with respect and helped her get healthy to leave. The Doctors spoke in everyday language so we could understand what was happening. The social workers worked extremely hard to make sure her needs were met when she went home. I wish I could stay there a few days. All in all I'm sorry if your experience wasn't the

It took me 5 days to contact someone because there phone's were not working, and 8 days to contact a nurse and that was the day my sister passed away. Staff is not capable to work with patient they don't even know wen a patient is in distress or in need to call 911. Patients are neglect and wen you questions nurses they have the nerve to lie to family member

Even 1 star is far too much. DO NOT send your loved ones here if you care about them. My dad stayed here and came out in far worse shape than he went in. They are constantly understaffed and the staff that is present is rude and neglectful. They cannot provide basic care or medication. There is also no accountability amongst the staff and you are never able to get a hold of the doctor. This place needs to be shut down immediately. DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE.

This facility has had at least 4 covid outbreaks from their own employees, the latest one this week (4/3/21) Families have not been allowed to visit for more than a year yet patients are still being infected by the irresponsible staff. Care of elderly is subpar. Communication with admin slow and uncaring. Stay clear of this place

Giving them 1 star is too much. I’d give them negative stars if that was an option. If you love your family members DO NOT SEND THEM HERE! They mistreat and abuse their patients. My best friend’s grandmother is dying because of the neglect from this rehab! Something as simple as good patient care could have kept that poor sweet woman alive. This place need to be shut down immediately.

My Mother-in-law had a very recent stay for rehab at the facility.
We always found a friendly smile and warm, compassionate care.
At the time of her admission there was initial contact with the administrator, nurses, therapist, and many other staff members who just popped in to say hello. All were personable and helpful and during the stay they were outstanding in every aspect of care.
