We're here to make you feel at home in a yoga studio. In fact, Oyster Bay Yoga was created with the sole purpose of helping folks like you reap the rewards of a regular yoga practice and become the happiest, healthiest, fittest version of yourself. Yoga is a union of body, breath, and mind, and our studio is a place to take care of all three. You'll practice yoga, pilates, or meditation in a class that suits your individual goals. Describe your teaching style: I teach the Abhaya Method, systemized by my teacher Tara Glazier & owner of Abhaya Yoga, BK. The Abhaya Method focuses on the return to our natural state. Yoga provides the means toward awakening body, mind and ultimately one's life. The method focuses on deepening awareness while releasing holding and gripping patterns in the body & mind.
In this class, you'll learn foundational yoga postures in a safe, alignment-based class. Geared to beginners and experienced yogis looking for a moderately-paced class with lots of opportunities to learn and grow. Vinyasa is the union of breath with movement. Learn to flow in this moderately-paced class, which builds on Yoga Roots, and moves through a well-sequenced series of postures.

Kids ages 4-10 can come dressed in their PJ's for a fun yoga class with stretching and games and stories to help them get ready for bed. Come join YR! teachers for a fun and heart-centered kids yoga class based on gratitude for Thanksgiving. Class includes yoga (for before and AFTER the big meal!), mindfulness, stories, games and a gratitude-themed craft along with ideas for creating your own gratitude jar at home.
Sign up for a 1-on-1 meeting with an instructor where you'll be given a tour of the studio. In this 15-20min meeting, the instructor will be able to answer any questions that you have, and help you choose a group class that will best suit your personal goals. A healing treatment for body, mind, and spirit.
