Outfitted with tasteful beach-inspired dcor, a charming front porch, and a welcoming team of wine experts, we invite you to come and experience why Summerland was voted "Best Winery in Santa Barbara County."
After considerable site research, Summerland finally planted its first vineyard. Planted in 2007, Summerland Winery's Theresa-Noelle Vineyard is located in the prime Santa Barbara county growing region of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation, located in the western part of the AVA. The vineyard is planted to 10 acres of four different Pinot Noir clones: 115, Pommard, 667 and 828 and has 63 spacing of 4 blocks.

A close walk from our vacation rental in the cute town of Summerland, very open space with our own table and felt safe being socially distant. Great decoration and fun feeling to visit in the afternoon. The only drawback was that when we called about their cheese plates they said they only had 2 remaining, when we inquired to see if they had anything when we arrived it almost looked worse than a box you'd get on an airplane. It was also $25.

I had originally given Summerland Winery two stars since the experience we had with one of the employees wasn't very good. Since then two things happened that has caused me to change my review. First, just before we left the winery, a second employee arrived and shortly afterwards, the original employee left for the day. The first employee had dumped a couple of menus and a wine tasting sheet on our table that didn't really explain much (nor did she go into any explanation of how the wine tasting works) so we opted to, instead, just order two glasses of wine. Once she left we noticed

Such a lovely gem of a winery. We made an appointment and we were lucky enough to get the couches on the front porch. We arrived on time with masks on and our little dog. The wines all tasted out of this world yummy and super affordable. The staff was informative and fun. I loved our visit and we can't wait to come back

A great spot for wine tasting! They have great social distanced options-- couch areas on the front patio and barrels with plenty of space between them in the back that are all shaded.

We used our axxess deal to get a 2-for-1 tasting which was a great deal.

In order to have the least amount of contact while there they served all our tastings in tiny glasses for us to pour. This was a great way to stay safe and was a fun experience.

The wines are all easy to drink and taste delicious. The Theresa Noelle Pinot noir was our favorite with the Grenache Rosé being a close runner up.

We'll definitely

Really great wine testing spot in Summerland. The town is adorable and walkable and this spot is perfectly in the middle. The servers are as sweet and bubbly as the Rosé. Great selection and really great pricing. Definitely recommend and will return to.

Ok experience. Had the flight taste but really didn't get to savor the moment because our server had a very fast pace "almost like a hurry up and finish speed" pour.

I stopped in to buy several bottles of wine. The woman who was working there has to be the least hospitable person in the hospitality industry. From a caring prospective, I'd like to encourage her to to find work that she actually enjoys or where she doesn't have to interact with guests. From a management and food and beverage industry perspective, I'd like to encourage her to shape up or ship out! I felt so totally unwelcome the entire time I was there. I am a member ( time to cancel ? ) and the experience was so off-putting that I can not imagine bringing my visiting family

Me and my boyfriend were driving back from Santa Barbara to LA and stumbled across this cute winery. Jordyn was our server and she was so sweet accommodating and wonderful. I love Summerland and coming into here made it even more wonderful! Will return every time we come over this way.

A very nice tasting room with a good amount of space compared to most in the Santa Barbara area. I very much enjoyed the tasting and the views to match. I also appreciate their snack selection and cheese platter recommendations.

A little out from Santa Barbara but do not miss this tasting room! The wines are really great and Tommy, our host is very knowledgeable about each varietal and the area is comes from.
Wines are all priced below some others that do not have these values.
Don't miss the the Rhône Varietals !
A hidden gem on the Santa Barbara area.

If you are looking for high quality wine and a lovely little town to visit while enjoying the quiet sunny beach setting ... this is the place to go. Staff is really friendly and welcoming. Jennifer was of great help explaining not only the wines, but also what else can you try if you are looking to pair for specific occasions. She also offered advice on places to visit while getting to know the Santa Barbara area. Definitely coming back for more amazing wine and friendly company :-)

This was a great stop on our SB trip. The tasting room is lovely. The new manager, Hayley, did our tasting. She was very pleasant and knowlegeable. We loved several of their wines, including the Chardonnay and a Trio blend. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stop, relax, and enjoy.

Stopped by on a whim for a wines tasting on our drive into Santa Barbara, and boy was it the best stop we did on our way up the Pacific coast.
Great wines (they're known for pretty tasty Pinot, but the Viognier was our pick of the bunch), but even better still was the local knowledge from Tommy behind the bar.
Not only does this lad know his wines, but for two bumbling international tourists, he gave us a map and basically planned our entire itinerary for our overnight stay in SB on the spot! Everything from what sights to see, where to view the best sunset, where the locals eat (and where

Amazing wine tasting! Located in a fun, yet peaceful part of town, this winery is an amazing experience for a casual Saturday afternoon. The staff was well educated and very friendly. The owner even gave us two extra Pinots to try after we expressed how happy we were with our first one. The wine was amazing and everything we tried had an interesting backstory. The ambiance is perfect for wine tasting, with custom tables and comfortable furniture. Overall a great vibe. Dog friendly and extremely reasonable pricing for how nice the wine is. I will definitely be going back
