Bottle Jack is a small, family-run operation. Winemaker, John Ritchey, started Bottle Jack as a project while earning his enology degree from Fresno State University. He has continued to grow Bottle Jack while working on winemaking teams for a number of wineries located in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and gaining experience abroad in Italy, France, Switzerland and Moldova.
John's large family supports him with the odds and ends of getting the job done such as driving harvest trucks, crushing and fermenting the juice, working the bottling line and pouring wines for our customers. Our hands are in every step of the process from grape to bottle. The name Bottle Jack was chosen as a tribute to John's first winemaking experience.

Services
Complimentary tastings for 4 people per membership at Winery Tastings and 2 People at the Westside Tasting Room. Due to legal restrictions on wine shipments we are limited to shipping in select states outside of California. Please inquire if you would like your wines. Billing to your Visa or MasterCard prior to the shipments including sales tax and shipping.

Family-run winery specializing in local and unique wines. A couple of their wines have even received 100 pts at the California State Fair! Initially they only had a few red wines but over the past couple years have expanded to include whites and a port. The winery is open about once a month for tastings (3rd weekends and a few special tasting days). I love the Firenze super Tuscan blend, the Zinfandel and the Viogner.
Update: They now have a second tasting room on Ingalls Street on the Westside open Thurs-Sun every week.
