In an explanation of a faith-based practice, let it be understood that although our philosophy is based on our faith in God, this will never be imposed upon a client and it is contingent upon the client to decide how or if their own faith system will be incorporated explicitly into their therapy.

I was very disappointed with Holy Family Counseling Center. I had a very negative experience with the counselor there. He did not begin or end the sessions with prayer, he offered no clear plan or guidance during the meetings about what to discuss or not discuss, therefore the meetings were very haphazard and seemed to have no direction. It seemed like he had absolutely no plan, he just showed up ill prepared. In fact, he just sat in a chair and said it was productive for him to watch my husband and I disagree. He brought about no peace, and offered no solutions. He claimed it was normal practice
