Program hours vary. In general programming is provided 3-4days per week from 11-4pm and three evenings per week from 5-8pm. These hours may vary depending upon client demand, so it is best to call the program to get the current schedule of hours. However, each person can create a treatment schedule that works for them and can include any combination of available hours.
It varies based on each individual needs. Some people are done in a few weeks, while others may continue for a year. It depends upon what needs to get done, how much gets done, and the clients overall sense of readiness. Clients have an active voice in determining how long they need to remain in treatment.

The staff is all very professional, polite and friendly which makes you feel welcomed, important, cared for, and that your best interests for success are being put first as well as into action. I am thankful for places like this to exist in my area that offer help to battling
both addiction/substance abuse along with mental illness then forming a customized plan based on the each case individually by doctor and patient cooperating

Amazing and caring staff that works to tailor the program to meet your individual needs. Instead of feeling like just a number, you actually feel like a cared about human being! They have everything you need right there from applicatible skills groups, process groups, trauma therapy, an at home worker and medication management. In addition, they have free peer support groups and give support as long as you need it. When you fall they are right there to help you through- it instead of kicking you out like most programs. I cannot say enough good about this program and how grateful I am to the exceptional

If you have a broken leg you go to a doctor. If you struggle with mental health you go to a therapist or a psychiatrist. If your mental health issues include substance issues, then you might try Minnesota alternatives. This is a no judgement, No Label, alternative to the traditional 12 step, pass fail, stringent and more draconian style of treatment we are all familiar with. One should not feel ashamed if one has struggles in life. Everybody struggles sometimes with some things. I have been going to Minnesota alternatives for about 2 weeks primarily for cigarettes. Cigarettes are extremely hard

The most effective treatment program I have ever been to. The counselors and facilitators are all so caring and want nothing but the best for you and your life moving forward. I also see my psychiatrist Dr. Sawyer here, as well as my therapist Allie Lucas. I have been doing sessions with her, twice a week for the last 6+ months. I highly recommend MN Alternatives to anyone that is dealing with a substance use disorder and/or mental health issues. They really are the BEST!
