Pfeiffer Winery is requiring masking and social distancing outdoors as well as indoors regardless of your vaccination status. Pfeiffer Vineyards, established in 1983, is one of the oldest and most distinguished vineyard estates in the south Willamette Valley. Our exclusive wines, not available through retail stores, enjoy a world-wide reputation.
Seventy acres of ultra-premium vines include pinot noir, pinot gris, chardonnay, muscat and merlot. Snuggled in the lush hills of the Coast Range, we do not manipulate our environment, we allow it: deer, coyotes, foxes, skunk, bears, elk, cougars, hawks, swallows, eagles, doves, frogs, turtles, fish, herons, bobcats-all call our land home in a balanced, symbiotic relationship.

I was not allowed into the buildings with my trained well mannered medical service dog. When I told them that the dog was trained they still refused. When I told them they were violating federal ADA laws I was told "It was for my own safety "? I cannot recommend this Buisness.
There are a lot of other tasting rooms in this area that will accommodate ADA patrons, go to them instead.

The winery was nice and the wine was decent, if a bit overpriced. However, one of the owners, Robin, came by our table and was incredibly rude to my fiancé, who is a disabled veteran, for his service in Afghanistan, This is not a vet friendly business and we will not be back after listening to this individual devalue his service for 10 minutes while we were trying to enjoy a relaxing Sunday. He left a bad taste in everyone's mouth

Genius, Amazing, Perfect set up, Great Weather, What a great time!!!!!
Burgers and Blues Friday night at the winery!!!
With the Blues playing in the background, a breeze coming in over our shoulders, and a bottle or two of wine on the table. The Ambiance, Wine, Food and Music all came together and provided the base for this complex event to provide a simply relaxing time.
Ambiance: The spacious layout with the water garden, ample trees and location in the valley made for the perfect setting during this time of extra rules due to COVID. Plenty of parking with tables tucked into the natural

This is a winery to visit if you're in this area! The drive is wonderful and the area is beautiful and inviting. The Pinot Noirs were outstanding...the Merlot...unbelievable! And the Muscat and Pinot Gris were amazing. You can taste the love in these wines. And the wine club is DEFINITELY worth joining.
Jared was very welcoming and very knowledgeable about each wine. This was an extra special visit for us because we came here on honeymoon. Danuta...thank you for the suggestions on where to have dinner!! We are very grateful!!!

The only thing this place has going for it is it's landscaping, but don't get your hopes up because their tasting room is inside a room with no windows so that doesn't even matter. I was looking forward to some good Oregon Pinot's and every one was more disappointing than the last.
Do yourself a favor and visit any of the other wineries if you're looking to have good wine, pay less and have a better time. I recommend Brigadoon.

We went to see a band I adore play music at this winery.
The environment was beautifully decorated & the woman pouring our wine was very kind & helpful. An older man who appeared very drunk came over about an hour into our stay and punched my partner on his arm repeatedly. The punches were not violent but were more than playful and were aimed at my partner because he wasn't "taking the pretty ladies up to dance" and "everyone who comes here dances".
Later he approached my friend, sitting down very close to her. He joyfully proceeded to make racially inappropriate

I can't say I am an Oregon Pinot expert, but I did do some research before landing on Pfeiffer. The thing I've discovered is that the wineries in area are by appointment (which I DID try to make), and basically many are not responsive. Pfeiffer was one of the only spots that did respond - happily! I wasn't sure going in because they just didn't have great reviews on Yelp or other travel site. So happy I stopped there because it was a nice highlight of my trip to Eugene!!
It's family run.
The hostess was extremely pleasant - I got a lot of info on the wine and the family

You can bring your own picnic lunch out and dine by the new and improved water garden. There is a lot if shade outdoors too. Or if it's too chilly the huge pavilion is great to sit, relax, enjoy your picnic with a nice bottle of wine and maybe even visit with other people while hanging out by the fire. Huge marshmallows to toast with sticks provided. Have a beer if you aren't into wine. Buy the tasty cheese log they well. It's divine.
They have fun events out here too. I just wish we lived closer.
Go check them out and you'll love it. Cheers!

I absolutely love Pfeiffer Winery! It was such a beautiful surprise. I was there for a friends birthday. The atmosphere was simply charming, inside and out. The picnic tables and the grounds were utterly enchanting. Water and plants, little bridges and vista views. It's a bring your own picnic place, so that's what we did. We set up at a table, and then went inside for the wine tasting. The inside pavilion was so beautiful, would love to have an event there. Then the wine cellar area was just beautiful and inviting. The group I was with tried several types of wine. The server was so sweet
