Amigoni Urban Winery
Gather again with your corporate team or family and friends for a private experience at Amigoni. Welcome to Amigoni Urban Winery located in the historic Daily Drover Telegram Newspaper building in the Stockyards District of the West Bottoms. We call ourselves an urban winery because we want to make our wines accessible to everyone. Amigoni's beautiful tasting room in the urban core brings a variety of our wines to the people of Kansas City, where they can be sampled and shared easily.
Services
Amigoni Urban Winery produces small lots of dry handcrafted wines in the Stockyards District of Kansas City's Historic West Bottoms. We focus on traditional European grape varietals, like Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Viognier. Our locally-made wines are produced from grapes grown in the northern portion of California's Central Valley, including regions like Lodi, Sierra Foothills and Amador County.

Our locally-made wines are made from grapes grown in the Amigoni Vineyard, located 60 miles east of Kansas City in Centerview, Missouri and from grape-growers in the Lodi AVA, which is in the northern portion of California's Central Valley. We are so grateful for area restaurants and retailers who support local.

Since 2006, we've set out to make quality, hand-crafted wines from unique varietals. We're expanding on that tradition with the Amigoni Wine Club; an opportunity to create a community of friends and family that gathers together to enjoy local wine. Our wine club is about more than just membership. It's about creating a relaxed, fun environment that takes the Amigoni wine experience to the next level.
Our winery is available for your next special event! Our space is perfect for wedding ceremonies, corporate functions, class reunions and other special occasions. We renovated the historic Daily Drover Telegram Newspaper Building in the Stockyards District of Kansas City's West Bottoms. Built in 1909, this building served as the production facility and newsroom to the news publication for the livestock industry.

A Fabulous Urban Winery that uses grapes from CA but aged and barreled here in KC.

Great environment, great wine tastings, and my only advice would be its loud in the main area, however, the staff was very accommodating and move our party to a quieter location. Thank you.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their wines. The main tasting room isn’t large, but is comfortable. There is an upstairs and a barrel room that make the space larger. The bar makes a nice impression. The wines themselves are mostly good (some very good), and there is a wide selection of varietals. Wines come by glass, bottle, or flight.

Amazing wine tasting! The bartenders were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was initially slow but quickly became busy. It is an exceptionally large place with the front room and upstairs. Also there is a back room with large seating area and outdoor patio with more seating. Will be coming back

Interesting venue. I liked the wine barrels behind glass and that they have brought back to life an old building. Whether or not someone likes wines is personal so who am I to say if they are good or not. I sampled two reds that I thought had an interesting peppery flavor. They do not make any sweet wines as they want to be similar to California wineries. Some of the grapes are grown locally and some are brought in from California.
