One of the most versatile of Missouri's white grapes, Vignoles' luscious floral aroma and fruity flavors of citrus, pineapple and apricot are similar to a German Riesling. Our Missouri Pink Catawba has a fresh aroma with a fruity finish that is pleasing to the palate. A portion of each bottle sold go to help fight Breast Cancer in the Independence area.
We love great BBQ, just like you. From our low and slow smoked meats to our hand crafted sides and sauces, we've got your cravings covered. 1/2 lb. of Slow-smoked brisket cut thin and piled high then drizzled with our house BBQ sauce served on a toasted bun. 1/2 lb. of slow smoked spicy sausage topped with our house BBQ sauce served on a toasted bun.

I'd like to begin by noting that I'm primarily a dry wine drinker. I've been going to wineries for many years, so I'm quite experienced with flavors and tastes of a broad range of grapes and the notes they produce. I enjoy dry red wines for their earthiness and boldness. I enjoy dry white wines for their crisp flavors and fruit notes. I also enjoy semi-dry wines. Sweet wines are not for me. For my tasting options at the Top Hat, there were two 'dry' options, three 'semi-sweet' options, two or three sweet options, and two wine ciders. Six tastings for $5.00. While I will try and sometimes enjoy

We had an amazing experience at Top Hat, we had a terrible experience at another winery in the Kansas City area and Top Hat saved my entire bachelorette party. The two women at the bar were knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. Additionally, the wine was unique and more flavorful than anything I had ever tried before.

Family owned establishment just a couple of years old. The woman who poured our tasting was VERY FRIENDLY and good at walking us through the tasting. We wished that she would have been able to pour into actual glasses instead of dixie cups but we assumed it has to do to COVID restrictions.
There was an EXTENSIVE AMOUNT OF WINES to taste. This was fun to try on a tasting, but it seemed like the focus on innovation for new flavors COMPROMISED THE OVERALL QUALITY of the wines. The wines were bold. Many were quite sweet while others were more of a vinegar flavor. I caution readers on the jalapeno

This is a small storefront, with hopes of expanding. I had the Jazz it Up wine. I would not recommend it. I could find no flavorful notes, and I was unable to finish it. There is a pretty big selection of wines, perhaps choose another. The Here Piggy Piggy Piggy sandwich was recommended. The sausage didn't have much smokiness to it, it was basically a kielbasa. I had the two meat option with beans for my platter. The pulled pork's flavor was pretty good, but it was slightly dry. I opt for my BBQ to always be served without sauce. I did try the sauce on the side. There is no tomato in their sauce

Wineries is what we do every week. This was our third stop today. I tried everything they had in stock and I have to say I am sorry I do not believe this place can stay open serving wine. Everyone of the wines had a strong vinaigrette taste, that almost turned my stomach. There is another signature wine with a hot pepper which nearly burned my taste buds out. The BBQ was alright and perhaps the only saving grace. The brisket was pretty good and almost perfect if he adds a little more Kosher salt when smoking. I think another also comment that the pulled pork was a little dry but the sauce was pretty

Wine was fine but very limited selection. The most disappointing part was the food. No meat on the ribs and severely over cooked, flatbread pizza was simply pita bread with cheese and lunch meat on the top, and wings were cold. Do not expect good food or a large variety of wine selection. Ate food to be polite, not because it tasted good. Ribs and Wings were not finished, pizza was finished but not good. Little Ceasers pizza is better. (EDITED AGAIN) Severely disappointed with management response to this review. In no way should anyone go to this winery. The way they have handled this review should

I've been here a few times for events and just for stopping in while I'm on the square. I've never had a bad experience - the staff is always friendly and helpful, they let you sample, there are good sales, and their pineapple cider is the absolute best for a hot day. Actually this is where I get a few of my favorite flavors - the chocolate cherry wine is also so good.

I adore this place. Missy is the friendliest sweetest lady I've ever met. She welcomes everyone that walks past her window or comes through her doors. She's very creative and holds different types of events for guys or girls. I've had scary movie night and popcorn there , makeup testing, trick-or-treat, Black Friday shopping, painting canvas nights, painting wine glass nights... And don't get me started on the wine. I love sweet wine and she has got the most amazing wine and the best names. Also you don't need a corkscrew to open they have a lid to put it right back on
