What a beautiful getaway! This inn, no matter the time of year, has a bit of magic where most other locations have become too commercial. Recommend the wine tasting at their quaint bar, a roam through the vineyard, and a walk through the main hall. I'll be staying again!

Many Wedding venue options bit inside and out. The organizers appeared to have a good handle on the events and everything in our friends wedding went off without a hitch. Only drawback from the outside wedding our friend had was the long walk from the Building but that was the location the bride choose and it was beautiful.

Unfortunately we will never go or stay here again.
We were married at the Belvoir Winery 6 years ago, and every year we return to take a pic at the gazebo and have stayed every time since they opened rooms.
This time when making our reservation we got an email stating we were not allowed to stay and any future reservations would be cancelled due to how we "left the room" our last 2 visits. This shocked us because we always leave the rooms in good condition (stack the towels, consolidate the trash, etc.).
We emailed back asking why, and got another rude email saying the answer was final, still

It is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful outside in the daytime, the lawns, the gazebo, the inn/winery bldg are gorgeous. As an overnight guest, room was pretty, clean, pillows were flat as heck. 2 pillows= 1 you'd have on your bed at home. Huge bathroom, couch with TV, it's nice. Staff are super nice, helpful. Need some less boot camp pillows...I am a vet and my pillow in basic was better:) But it's so pretty, it is.
Amateur ghost hunters, you CANNOT investigate outside once they lock the front doors of the inn/winery, but you will not be disappointed with activity.

Update to my original review:
Although I can’t re-do my event at Belvoir, they did definitely try to make it up to me. Thank you Madison for taking my complaint seriously.
If you’re considering an event in the back dining room - don’t.
1. Upon arrival the room was unacceptably warm & continued to be so throughout our time slot. The caterer is the one that turned on the window air conditioner to try and cool it down. That room should have comfortable upon our arrival. Had to ask the bartender to find a fan. I had guests sweating and fanning themselves with the game cards we had.
2. There

Around 2:05 we stopped in for a glass of wine on a gorgeous fall day. The sign said were hosting a wedding and were closing the bar at 2:30 and the grounds at 3:00. We walked up to the bar area and the lady behind the bar RUDELY announced, "We're closed!" We said the sign said 2:30... she said we changed it to 2:00 because they had to get the sangria ready for the wedding! It's unfortunate that they can't staff accordingly when they have an event. It would have taken 2 minutes to sell us a bottle of wine and we would have gone to sit outside. They, unfortunately, made their

Called to book a room. Guy asks what day of week my date is. I say Saturday. He instantly says they have a wedding and nothing available. I explained there was at 11PM last night. He said then book on website. Went to website and I get 'something went wrong' all over the place.
I did not call back as apparently he is too busy to help me. Booking on The Plaza instead. Will no longer do the paranormals here as well. When customer service is very important in the Service infustry now, this place failed miserably.

The inn is comparable to a 2.5 to 3 star hotel: very thin walls, so-so beds, cheap furnishings and toiletries, etc. No breakfast. The winery is more of a gimmick than good wine.... I think most people probably like the history and maybe the spooky quality of the place for events, and it certainly has history, plus our booking was inexpensive, so all in all it was OK but neither an overly nice or comfortable stay.

The best part of my journey across the country. A beautiful Inn, amazing wine, educated and friendly staff. Even with being "Haunted" the lighthearted energy given by the children makes this an amazing stay. Walking the grounds, seeing the cemetery meeting "George," it is all a delight. I cannot wait to visit again!!

I had my bridal shower at Belvoir this past weekend. Belvoir worked with us to create the perfect sangria since they don’t allow outside alcohol. Belvoir generously upgraded us to the ballroom the day of the event. The room was gorgeous with lots of character and great lighting. Belvoir doesn’t allow you to attach anything to the walls or ceiling so we had to get creative with decorations. Luckily, the ceilings were tall enough to fit the focal point of the event- an 8 foot balloon arch! I would definitely host another event at Belvoir!

Such a unique stay. Loved to take peaceful walks around the grounds in the evening. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Only downside is that walls are thin. Also tub is slick when stepping out. On site winery with extended hours for guests to purchase was handy. Don't let the rough exterior sway you its just part of the history. Staff was great, answered questions and took care of anything we needed.

Super nice place to stay at. We stayed in room 2, not very haunted.....the walls are a tad thin, lots of creaky floors. SUPER CLEAN, and amazing shower.

Was told that room 9 is where you want to stay if your are looking for more of a ghostly stay as it's more consistent.

It's sad that the other buildings aren't fixed up, but I'm sure that will come with time and money.

I highly recommend staying here, the complimentary wine tastings and tasty wines are a treat.

The sommelier was very nice and hospitable. Tasting of the full selection of wines is complimentary. They have so many private sitting rooms you can walk around and see. Do a tasting, buy a glass to sip while you explore or rest on one of the comfy chairs. One room had board games and books-like a little living room. So much history in there and the ghost tours look interesting as well. Will definitely be back in the warm weather to see how pretty the grounds would be when green and alive. Don't skip this one it's well worth it!

What a Surprise for the Chauffeur!

Last night as I was enlisted as my wife's chauffeur for a "girl's night out," I was honestly surprised to discover the Belvoir Winery. Thanks to Garmin I was able to find it nestled about half a mile off MO 291 in Liberty.

Turning into the driveway we were blown away by the sheer beauty and serenity of the grounds. It is one of those places where you are drawn in to just bask in its old school charm. Rounding the circular drive I noticed the inscription over the main entry door, "Odd Fellows Home." My father had belonged to the

I love this place! My daughter and I attended the the Halloween costume party and had a wonderful time. They had the band the Troubadour Retrievers who really rocked, plenty of food, including sushi and really great desserts and plenty of bars to service everyone. They also had a haunted house and palm reading. The building and grounds too were absolutely stunning.
I'm definitely interested to see what other fun events will be hosted here. Highly recommend to check out. Two thumbs up.

My boyfriend and I went in around 4 on a Sunday to check out the vibe. There was clearly an event going, however the tasting room was not busy. They had two staff members working the bar. There were 4 girls sitting at the bar, a couple, and one other couple at a high top. Not sure what to do, we sat at a high top & were hoping for a greeting or some guidance of what our options were. Nothing. My boyfriend got up to look for the restroom & I continued to sit awkwardly with no acknowledgement from the two staffers. The gentleman even walked past me with a trash bag & said nothing. Our bartender was friendly and the atmosphere is unique and the wine was tasty. It's not really a winery but the scenery was very relaxing but I'm from California and frequent Napa so the wine was not my favorite but not horrible and like I mentioned the friendly staff and scenery make it enjoyable.

I am shocked at myself for not reviewing this place sooner! I've been coming here since they opened. The team here is so friendly and helpful. Most are super knowledgeable about the wine and history of the Odd Fellows Home which is fun chit chat while you're sampling wine. The wine is delicious! Casanova is my absolute favorite- do try! The wine tasting is complimentary. The location of this winery is what's so unique. It's in a old orphanage next to an abandoned nursing home, hospital, and retirement home. They do ghost tours here and Amy Bruni of form Ghost Hunters frequents

I enjoyed my experience at the winery. When you first arrive it's clear to see it's an absolutely gorgeous property. The building itself is very old and you definitely get the creepy vibe you might expect from a building that old. Parts of it are run down, but in a way that adds to the charm and experience. You can taste all of their wines for free, which is awesome, and then can obviously buy glasses or bottles. I really enjoyed several of their wines.

It's kind of cool you can walk around on the first level and just choose a room to sit in while you drink your wine, or you can

Nice little winery tucked away off the beaten path. They have lots of varieties of wine and offer FREE tastings for any of their wines.
If you are not a wine person they also have plenty of beer and hard alcohol options.
The grounds are beautiful and they have lots of outside seating and a room with a history of the property.
The bartender was very-friendly and knowledgeable on the wines when doing our tasting.

Well went in for our office party and dinner with a group of say 40ish. Food was really insignificant, bland, and mediocre while the bar was a ok. The skid performed for us by a couple made many in our team feel abashed multiple times with their adult jokes and actions that were certainly not appropriate for co-workers. It would have been a different story with a group of friends.

What a great gem! We stopped in on our way to KC to just sample some wines and we're very pleasantly surprised by this place. Gorgeous drive up the grounds, along with a fascinating history that is on full display for you to see for free make this well worth the stop. Then we found out that all the wine samples are for free! The night manager/bartender was fantastic. She was passionate and knowledgeable. We may be back to stay at the inn!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Belvoir Winery & Inn with a group of nine people for several days. The massive inn and sprawling grounds are shockingly beautiful. The accommodations are astounding. And Jesse, the proprietor, is a superb host.

The ground floor has an amazing bar and tons of large rooms with high ceilings an open spaces. The second floor is very similar but fully renovated and specifically designed for hosting events; you could have a serious party, reunion or wedding here. And the third floor has nine rooms, including a very impressive suite. All the rooms are totally

This is definitely a hard review to write. Clearly, they've got a lot things for them. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and the wine tasting is a lot of fun. Although I had a problem when Madison told us the one acre vineyard behind the Inn provided the grapes for nine different wines. It was Gary at breakfast who actually provided the truth they purchase grapes from local growers and process the wines in Booneville. By the way, Gary is a delight and my husband enjoyed talking to him at breakfast. From the looks of condition of the place they are very stretched running

Not only are the family who have taken on renovations a wonderful group of people, but they are respecting the history and reviving the story of Odd Fellows. The winery is amazing, the food is great and I had the opportunity to work an event that included late night investigations on the property - the whole experience was amazing.
I hope to return with more time, less wind and a chance to book the Bridal Suite for a good night stay!

"Nope, I'm not going in there." My exact words when I pulled here on my last visit. After nearly driving off the road missing the turn, I was adamant about skipping the wine tasting and heading to somewhere a little less "haunted." I'm glad I changed my mind because Belvoir Winery is a real treasure for those seeking some winey goodness, good company, and a great story.

The bar area here is really small but still big enough to fit about a dozen people around the bar and surrounding tables. We opted for the wine tasting (free, but gratuities are a must) which allowed

I was scared to come due to the reviews but it was actually a nice time with great customer service. Other customers were awesome as well, not sure if the wine had anything to do with it.

I read the service has been horrible but I was pleased I didn't get the names of the young man and woman but they were attentive and made jokes. The guy accidentally spilled red wine on a customer and purse. Ouch but he was so apologetic and gave them wine as a sorry gift. She wasn't to mad and continue drinking what a good

Visited our local winery for the first time since moving here. I was hopeful, because we had left behind several top-notch wineries in STL. This place did not disappoint!
The wines were sweeter than what I typically drink, but there was a good flavor there for all of them. I was a fan of the Chardonel (drier white) and Norton (which was not that Norton-y). The drier wines are good "transition" wines, for those looking to expand their wine palate. By the way, the tasting is complimentary!!
The bartender was really friendly. He told us some ghost stories involving the winery (some were
