Services
At a time when many funeral homes are owned by mega-corporations listed on the national stock exchanges, Broome Funeral Home, Inc. is bucking the trend by remaining a local family business. The Broome's feel strongly that they can serve Rogersville families better if they remain family owned and operated.
Title: Now in God's hands. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Title: Supporting you in your time of loss. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true god, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).

Great people, great service, great attention to detail and the family.
Last August, when my mom passed, they guided me from start to finish. They were extremely compassionate with the family’s wishes and needs and just overall, a great job.

I do NOT recommend this funeral home. I would have given it a 1/2 star but it wouldn’t let me. They over charge compared to other in area and when I asked about a difference in the amount they said it was interest ( at 65% ) because o didupay the bill in 30 days. Which they didn’t even until they were about to charge me again. When I asked, the only response I got was “you can read the contract. “ Who in the world reads a contract while grieving? Or while in the middle of signing all this paperwork at the funeral home?? I highly recommend that if you need a funeral home to go to Christian
