It was my first time visiting the salon and I really love the results. My appointment was with Yuri. I got the Japanese Straightening Hair Treatment done and it was applied really well. It's quite expensive, but the staff are very skilled so for me it is worth it. With this type of treatment, you need to go to somebody who knows what they are doing.
She also is great at cutting hair. Will definitely be going back for my touch up!

I have been going to BELECO for a few years now, shortly after Aki first opened. I appreciate the care and time he and Mari take with their clients. Appointments are not rushed or hurried. I have had services done by both, and am always pleased with their skill and attentiveness. The fact that it's getting harder to make an appointment, makes me think that others agree...

I had my first visit with Aki and got a great cut. He was very attentive and asked many questions about the cut I wanted, to make sure I would be satisfied. He took time and precision on my style. Extremely clean and uncluttered salon. Sanitized after each customer. Spaced out appointments so there isn't overbooking and waiting. Feel lucky to find this gem.

I booked an appointment for me and my son and I really wanted a place where the family could go and get a haircut together. This is exactly the place, Aki's salon is very spacious, stylish, calming and very clean. This was our first haircut since the pandemic and so I was very nervous about going indoors and the precautions being taken. I felt very safe being in this salon and the COVID-19 precautions they took - temperature check, mask wearing, cleaning the tools after every client and the place was pristine! They also don't overbook, you have to be there on your designated time and

I and my friend had our ‘first-Beleco’ appointment with Mari for a scalp and hair treatment. Mari was amazing since we started with the appointment process. Due to covid I and my friend couldn’t book at the same time and Mari took the effort to reach out and make adjustments so we can come together. Mari’s skills are great as well, we loved the scalp massages she gave us and our hairs are feeling great! It’s been 2 days, we still see the effect on our hairs and they are just rejuvenated.

Mari did an amazing job with my hair cut. Throughout the session (btw which lasted for over an hour!!) she was super attentive and professional. She patiently went through all the options depending on my hair texture and requirements. After almost a year long hunt of me finding a stylist who could give me a hair cut of my choice in central jersey area, I am super pleased to have found this place. Definitely coming back!

Aki is the best! He's attentive, thoughtful and caring. I always get compliments from his cut and color. I've been going to him since his salon open, he's very accommodating and never over booked. I like I will be the only customer on my time slot, not like other salons will squeeze walk-ins in between.

What an amazing experience! Aki was so great-he sat with me to discuss my lifestyle and understand what worked for me and gave me one of the best cuts of my life. In addition he did an amazing balayage I've been getting compliments on for weeks. The salon is very chic and comfortable. I'm very much looking forward to my next cut. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for a stylist that takes it to the next level!

I have been in this area for 5 years and I have been waiting for something like this to open up. High class, top notch service. First off, Aki is an extremely warm and welcoming. Secondly, the haircut was stellar. Shampoo before and after and a head/neck massage. Incredible experience. I am not Asian myself, but will recommend this to everyone looking for a fresh, clean style with a personal touch.

Aki is very experienced and knows what he's talking about. My husband has been going to him for almost 10 years so I knew he's good with Men's hair but didn't know about women's hair. I just got my haircut by him today and he did not disappoint. I gave a top level description of what I want done and Aki knows exactly what to do. The haircut came out beyond expectation.
