Carmine and his crew did an amazing job of removing my underground oil tank. From beginning to end, from Jennifer’s assistance on the phone, to Carmine’s crew, the level of professionalism was well beyond what I ever expected, especially these days. They worked hard to get things done in a timely fashion so I could close on my house. They left the yard looking even better than when they started and they kept me informed of their progress while I was at work. Luckily, no leaks. What wonderful people! When I moved into my new home earlier this Spring (2020) I knew I would have to deal with an old and unused oil tank in my basement. I looked around online and found Castlton's web site and reviews were all excellent. They took care of all the Town of Greenburgh permitting and inspection scheduling, and on the day of the removal, I was impressed with the care and competence of the crew. This was by its nature a potentially "dirty" job but the guys were attentive to keeping everything nice and tidy, and above all SAFE! Castleton Environmental was a God send. My mother who was 105 had to replace her oil tank which had holes in it and clean up the soil. This occurred last December (2019) during a cold spell. We had her a tank
disposal first replaced the tank and asked for a quote from a different company to the soil remediation. There price was outrageous.
My friend referred me to Castleton and Bill explained to the entire process over the telephone. He went to my Mother’s house and left me proposal which was much more affordable than the other company's quote. We conducted the entire

My father hired the crew at Castlton to remove an underground oil tank. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and coordinated the work with installation of the new tanks. After removal of the tanks, they replanted the landscaping that had been displaced. They were courteous & I would recommend their services. I couldn't have been more pleased with their service. Amazing customer service, very helpful in communicating with the DEC and completing all the paperwork, and they expedited the work to accommodate our schedule.
